Is it better to take the 3 pts out of AttT for Deep Wounds?
I was under the impression that smooth, almost predictable threat generation via High AP was better than jerky Crit based threat spiking, so had assumed you pull points out of cruety for Deep Wounds, rather than AttT.
AttT is far better than cruelty - always take points out of the latter before the former.

I would go with some of the other guys said, I would work on your hit rating, maybe with the weapon chain or anything like that, you have to crit for DW to proc, and our job is far from critting regularly, so DW isn't exactly the most reliable hate or dmg producer we could have.
You have at least a 25% crit chance on the majority of tanking abilities, so it is reasonably reliable. Definitely more so than sword and board procs.

no reason you can't have DW + 3/3 AttT + 2/5 cruelty. for 5-mans, i tank with
greed
, making the deep wound procs on thunder clap very effective.
you still want a fast tanking weapon for raid bosses though, because the extra HS > DW.
