wtf, restricted only for tanks? why they have to change this - always this was passive pala ability
o Infusion of Light: Now increases the critical chance of your next Holy Light by 10/20% instead of reducing cast time. Moved to tier-10. <-
and this is total disaster, how now pala can make fast healing in party? no more 0.8sec Holy Light ;(
Edit - i've checked the ptr talent calculator here, tooltips on aura mastery said its no increasing aura range to 40y ....and infusion gives u reducig time OR critical chance - strange
SA is a HUGE nerf to ret. I mean, TREMENDOUSLY NERFED! That better not hit live.
Infusion of light is pretty lame, for sure.
They also moved holy shock's crit bonus talent deeper. Now you can't pick up instant FoL and HoF stun removal. They are trying pretty hard to nerf Holy in arena. They are moving it back to holy/prot spec for PvP. Such a shame....

I'm only against HL spamming in any way because I have yet to see many fights that need it. There just isn't a dire need yet unless you are trying to do some achievements perhaps, such as undermanning naxx, or the 3 drake 25 man achievement. I have a hard time with keeping a FoL spam useful, let alone a HL spam, with only a few exceptions in 25 man naxx. Maybe our healers are just that good. We usually 4-5 heal naxx 25.
But on the 2 HL spam fights I've been in, our heals are definitely insane. =)
>_< its never good to HL spam imo on any content sry to say...its the one thing that if u want to do that... u will need mp5 sad to say and a ton of crit for protection on those times that u dont crit 10 times in a row (omg my mana must of caught a cramp or sumthin...) now when uderhealing... ull have some guys who are down to 40% hp and such at a time that arnt getting touched... u use A, HL on them lol, as long as u know they wont be touched again and u need to quickly get them full hp like in Grobbulous fights where if the persons not full p his chance to die is great if diasesed with out full hp.

I am not liking most of the changes either they are making to Paladins in general tho i focus more on Holy >_< and i do not know if i can call it all 100% a buffing... or a nerfing even..
It seems to me they are adding more skill involved in playing a Holy paladin in knowing when to click at the right times (like Aura Mastery) but.... Infusion of light is just a big kick in the ass nerf/waste of a second skill... the 20% HL crit -_- cmon... thats just another way of saying that ther is a chance of ur HL criting rather than a guarentee that u will get the big heal u need off at the right time u want :(, makes me think Divine Favor is becoming a bit more worthless because I truthfully have a flash of light ready when i need a instant heal.. but for a BIG and Fast heal i do the combo to save the tanks, dps, or even healers. now I guess I cant play around and have to keep everyone topped off just incase something may go down :/... .8 sec HL's are just to helpful to put on the coping block for such a useless commodity as... 20% extra crit chance O_o...

JP - its not hard to stack haste, SP, crit and Int when having imba gear like yours :P
You can do it with entry Naxx-10 gear.
yep... almost all entry naxx 10 gear (gear from heroics) can be stacked to give just haste, int, and crit... except for i belive a main hand and shield, because ther is a sword i belive in H UP.. but it has spirit O_o... so no lol the mace with mp5 is better :P

Conclusion - what we need haste for anyway?
So that is why i count in first place Intelect and Crit, and in second place spellpower, mp5, spirit and stamina. Never consider haste :P
I agree sort of to ur stat pyrimid... sort of..
I would think Int, Crit, Sp, then haste, stam, and then mps... Spirit on a holy paladin? O_o... well.. if u have a druid friend that likes to intervate u then fine.. have a blast lol.
But Haste is Deff... a awesome thing to have.. with all hose talents u put out ur stillnot filling in the gaps of if u dont get that Crit..if dont need to do a HL in the first place... haste solves that problem, dont forget that ur judgement gives 15% MORE haste.. than of ur current amount ( i could be rong ;P then dam u but it still helps lol as it could mean 15% deductive from cast time rather than multiplying ur haste by 15%.)
Forgot to add.. haste is good for Healing Paladins because while other healing classes can put out hots on one target instantly and then the other... we must heal one by one :( QQ! so getting past this one...to the next.. to the next I would want to be a instance click to the next >_< of course impossible like perfect mechanical advantage still i would like to strive for it

Ret mana won't be nerfed - the new Glyph of Seal of Blood gives mana regen on each swing, or something to that effect. Plus, Judgments of the Wise is getting buffed to 25%.
That will be cool if JotW is buffed fairly well.. then i wont have to use Seal of Wiz, and try out that Glyph of Seal of Light as wll as the new 5% more healing talent coming out >_< 10% more heals does = sexy if i say so myself >_< i can maybe get 20k holy lights fullybuffed and with avenging wrath :D

My bad >_< i thought u were talkin bout JoW, Judgement of Wisdom, then there would be no reliance on Seal of Wisdom melee to get mana back to full easy.
and i dont care about efficiency when i put on Seal of Light >_< I want the big sexy Heal dammit when i show off in Naxx10s for a Naxx25 lol ...i would wet my own pants white to see a 20k heal used on a bear tank repeatedly with out using a Lay on hands or a 10k Holy shock heal :D... <--drooling. and if that 10% boost doesnt help it...so help me god i will gem with all red SP gems lol and then my crit and haste will suck balls for that run.. but it was worth it for the time dammit!

I updated for the "new" phenom that is 3D Sarth. Once you have to gear, they are moving to 51/20/0 spec, for DG so they can bubble/sac. The problem is, stacking int. isn't enough with holy/prot build so they are stacking spell power and crit.

I just wanted to comment in response to the discussions regarding "spamming" FoL or HL, or whether paladins are good raid or single target healers.
I have mostly item level 200 gear with a few 213 items in there. Recently I solo-healed the entirety of the Arachnid Quarter in Naxx 10 man. Not that this was particularly hard, but I think it is a good example of the power of a Holy Paladin. I managed to single-target
and
raid heal without going OOM. Additionally I had ~80%
overheals
! The raid may have used more potions or thrown a self-heal out there, but I think my total healing done was ~92%. Mobs also went down quick with the extra DPS. My guild thought I was nuts, but we were short a healer and we wanted to get started...
We can rock the house, not to be limited or pigeon-holed by healing roles or someone else's idea of how you should play your class.
Also - I don't spam anything. I top people off continuously with a mix of FoL, HL, and HS. I keep the Bacon on MT at all times as well as Sacred Shield. IMHO, a good holy pali at the top of whatever chart you look at, will use a purposeful mix of available skills. This is somewhat stating the obvious.
One more point/suggestion. Judging on every cooldown can be sort-of viable. Lacking any better trinket, I picked up
Sundial of the Exiled
for kicks. I judge as often as possible for that extra proc.
In closing, I must say I will sorely miss Infusion of Light. A foundation of my play-style was to HS and then HL when the tank is taking big hits or going down fast. This nerf will make those moments a little touchier.
(Hart - US - Scarlet Crusade - I have picked up 2 or 3 new 213 items since my Arachnid Quarter exploits, if anyone cares. Currently, unbuffed - 1920 SP, 32% crit, 385 haste, 20k mana.)

Yes, the "spam" concept is what spell you lean on more. HL spammers are usually main tank healers, and will cast FoL and HS on raid/tanks when the MT is topped off. FoL spammers will continuously spam FoL with the occasional HL and HS mixxed in.
It's not to be confused with "this is what you cast always!" You can't play any class that way.

...since HL glyph won't really be necessary in that situation, and you will want to have glyph of TE for pvp.

Just a little typo that I noticed, I assume it's suppose to be Optional :p
