Illidan was destroyed long ago.
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne was ended with Arthas' and Nerh'zul's souls merge.
I played ANY Warcraft games that is released and didn't find another "open" storyline.
Wrath of the Lich King means
NOTHING without a fight personally with
The Lich King. (i think it)
So after the defeat of the Lich King, the World of Warcraft ends. Nearly. Oo.. I mean the storyline ends. But go back in time, when the "normal" wow released. Without the Blizz, nobody knows where are Illidan and Arthas. And Ragnaros and C'Thun not "added" in the Warcraft games (if anybody didn't know,
Ragnaros and
C'Thun was the main 40-man raid instance bosses (except Kel'Thuzad, the Archlich, who resides in
Naxxramas, and begin explored in wc3)).
These bosses aren't explained in any Warcraft strategy games. But I hope the employes of Blizzard can make a new storyline. Kael'Thas was died in
Tempest Keep, but come back to
Magister's Terrace, in order to summon the mighty
Kil'jaeden into this world.
I didn't explain the lore more, spoilers ahead(!) but I think after my little writing, you "gotcha" it :)Your little story of the fight is good! Nice work. I amiss one thing, blizz should make, Arthas won't go into a spirit off this world. (Taken many pain to the world of Azeroth, but if He doesn't turn Sylvanas into a Banshee, Sylvanas can't banish from the Scourge,
de facto "create" the Forsaken, build below Lordaeron (->
Undercity). So the all
freaking storyline
creates itself!). Arthas may go back to Lordaeron, pick up the crown, destroy undercity. But if this happen, the lore repeat itself, and this events are begin from the beginnings.
Perhaps the spiritual enslave of
Malfurion Stormrage in the
Emerald Dream. It seems to be a new, can be finished lore-line.
Once more, this was a very nice work,
Bmfr. If Blizzard hiring Storyline-creators, you may enrol to it.
