Wowhead name is easy enough to guess =~.^= as is my online name. The backstory behind it and why he's a tiger and not a dragon is a bit long to put here. I like to read and write fiction, fantasy and otherwise when not deeply involved in Wow. (Which these days is rarely ever, I have umpteen number of books "on the shelf" ) Before I was known as Bahamut, I called myself Alucard s'Natas. Now granted Alucard is one of the greatest video game heros (IMHO). I came up with this name before I ever played CSotN Alucard read backwards spells Dracula. Dracula was a real purrson, and what he did would be viewed as satanic (not the religion but just generally evil) i.e. Drinking his enemies blood under their impaled and still dying bodies. so reading the whole name backwards makes it Satan is Dracula. Now before I get flamed, there is no religious meaning really behind that, just that generally people associate backwards words that mean something with demonology. Anyway. I've got ALOT of names, being a writer and long time tabletop rp'er. I'll just go with the basics of my main. I wanted Bahamut, but of course with Blizzard's naming conventions it was either already taken or not allowed for use. I could not get it. So I went with something else entirely. Deciding I was going to make my first real character a shaman, and a tauren, I went with
Samhein.
(link to the full definition) In short, Samhein is the pagan holiday that is in relation to, but not actually, Halloween. What better way to represent the name than with a dual wielding, element commanding, nature spell slinging, herbalistic, potion brewing, half ton of tauren? XD As for the rest of my characters, there are meanings behind most of their names but I'll just leave it at this.

Goose
When I lived in America, people couldn't pronounce my Swedish name (Gustav) without difficulty, so they started calling me Gus. That eventually developed, somehow, into Goose, and it's stuck ever since.

Touchy.
My name has been my internet handle for about six years. I use it in everything I sign up for.
From the cartoon Zoids, one of the models was a Lightning Saix and it was my favorite.

Satisfactory, I hope.

Sir Walter Scott - The Lay of the Last Minstrel
Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne'er within him burn'd,
As home his footsteps he hath turn'd,
From wandering on a foreign strand!
If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;
Despite those titles, power, and
pelf
,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonor'd, and unsung.
So, Pelf is a Victorian English word:
pelf /pɛlf/
–noun
money or wealth, esp. when regarded with contempt or acquired by reprehensible means.

Scammich
I am horrible at choosing names. I want to be original and not use names that everyone uses or is from something popular. While rolling my first character (Dwarf Hunter) I waited so long to come up with a name that I got hungry, so I decided to make a Scammich. There you go. I started noticing that most of my characters are based on food, my Human Warrior Sewp and my Gnome Mage Buttas. My current toon is a Dark Black Tauren Druid named Monsterd. I remember seeing a movie at Blockbuster by that name, it had a hand coming out of a manhole cover that was made out of what looked like poo. I thought it was hilarious and while rolling the new toon figured I'd finally use it.
