Would never roll any alts.
Have nine 70's now and honestly I want to delete them all. Cannot concentrate on any of them. I just wind up playing one for a few days then get bored and play another.
It stinks.
I think that's the essence of playing a game you enjoy. Why would you continue to play a class you've gotten bored with, just to get it geared? For me, I'm more interested in having fun and experiencing every side of the game I can.
If I get bored hacking at things with my warrior, I can incinerate things with my mage, or drop hammers on their heads with my paladin.

I would have realized that there were undead skins for death knights...

I would have slapped that keyboard out of my hands and handed myself crack instead.

I would have rolled a troll instead of a tauren godammit! I love trolls but at the time I made my char I liked tauren more since i played warcraft 3 and they looked cool there...

I would never ever ever have rolled a warrior.
I got my first toon (warrior) to level 70 and just gave up. He just sits at the inn in Shatt with 2g in his pocket and a grey tabard. I'd pay good money to be able to turn him into a different class.
I would have rolled on a roleplaying server and made an Orc Shaman.
I would've found a good guild right away instead of waiting until Level 60.

I wouldn't have rolled on Ravenholdt.
I wouldn't have tried to make my shaman look as insane as possible.
I wouldn't have made so many alts.
I wouldn't have deleted my dwarf paladin.

I would have leveled Cooking for sure... content with my class choice (Warlock).
All in all with the time I dedicate to the game I don't think that there's a lot more I could have done differently, though I do kinda wish that I hadn't leveled about a thousand characters to level 8-12ish and then deleted them months later.

I would play a shammy instead of hunters knowing we are getting nerfed and ppl don't generally like hunters
Yeah, my SECOND toon was a Hunter. You'd think I'd learn...

I would love to experience the same overwhelming feeling as I did when I first started. Everything was new, it was a whole massive huge adventure, waiting to be explored. Since I've been playing this game for about 4 years now, it's impossible to get that "golden" feeling back. Nowadays everyone just basically sets their minds on stuff they want and or want to achieve, and that's basically it.

Does the alliance have an event like the Battle for Undercity? Because I think that's the reason why some of the people said they would have rolled Horde. That event was just awesome! =p
They have the same, essentially; they kill someone else.
On topic...
I would have rolled a Troll Hunter instead of a Night Elf.
I would have spent my talent points properly.
I would have auctioned my greens instead of vendoring.
I wouldn't have spent money on vendor bags.
I wouldn't have dropped 150 tailoring and 250 skinning for Mining/Eng.
I would have rolled a horde lock a LOT sooner.
I would've PVPed more, considering the soon removal of PvP titles after I started playing.
And what Geosis said.
