(i glanced for a topic on this and didn't find one)
I was looking at a site today and noticed these changes that i thought i would mention...
Bash
Rank 3
10 Rage Melee Range
Instant 1 min cooldown
Requires Bear Form, Dire Bear Form
Stuns the target for 4 sec and interrupts spellcasting for 3 sec.
a second longer (5 seconds talented!)
and interrupts spellcasting!
AND to top it off,
Brutal Impact
Rank 2
Increases the stun duration of your Bash and Pounce abilities by 1 sec and decreases the cooldown of Bash by 30 sec.
the talent cuts the CD in HALF!
those changes make me honestly consider taking two points into that since they make bash much stronger....
heck ill just link the changes i took special note of
taken from
Here
* Bash: Now also interrupts spellcasting for 3sec.
* Shred: Added: "Effects which increase Bleed damage also increase Shred damage."
(nice, buffs not stacking doesnt hurt our shred dmg now)
* Maul: Added: "Effects which increase Bleed damage also increase Maul damage."
(again, buff stacking fixed here)
* Faerie Fire (Feral): Now also generates AP * 0.05 + 1.0 damage and additional threat when used in Bear Form or Dire Bear Form.
(makes it a free ranged damage attack, even if its a small amt of dmg O.o cool)
* Brutal Impact: Now also decreases the cooldown of Bash by 15/30 sec.
* Mangle (Cat and Bear): No longer specifically boosts Maul and Shred, only Bleed damage (see above, this is no net change).
(again...)
* Improved Leader of the Pack: The Druid now also gains 4/8% of maximum mana when benefiting from an Imp. Leader of the Pack heal.
(Imp LotP is now more useful for raids and pvp, as you get mana back)
* Berserk: No longer causes Mangle (Bear) and Maul to hit additional targets.
(ouch i liked that)
* Protector of the Pack: Now reduces damage taken by 1/2/3% for each friendly player in your party when you enter Bear Form or Dire Bear Form.
(guessing to fix so you don't take more damage when players disconnect during boss fights?)
* Feral Charge - Feral Charge (Bear) - Causes you to charge an enemy, immobilizing and interrupting any spell being cast for 4 sec. This ability can be used in Bear Form and Dire Bear Form. 15 second cooldown. Feral Charge (Cat) - Causes you to leap behind an enemy, dazing them for 3 sec. 30 second cooldown.
(mmm seperate cd's and spell casting interrupt on bear one)

Okay, I guess Koraa didn't get a chance to post it today.
1) Feral Faerie Fire becomes a core ability.
2) Brutal Impact increases duration and lowers cooldown of Bash. It swaps with Savage Fury, mostly to keep it out of the paws of anyone but Ferals.
3) Feral Faerie Fire replaced with the old Last Stand component of Berserk. But it's usable in both cat and bear forms.
4) Cat Berserk does not change. Bear Berserk goes back to Mangle hitting 3 targets, and since that isn't so useful on single targets, it also removes the 6 sec (untalented) cooldown of Mangle during the 15 sec duraton for some nice bear burst or threat generation. The Fear immunity is still intact.
Awesome big tweaks?

Is Brutal Impact keeping it's increased duration to Pounce? I'd assume so seeing as it isn't back to being called Imp. Bash, but some clarification would be nice.
The way they've phrased it is that it is the old talent
plus
the new functionality in the new position in the talent tree.
Oh sweet jesus! I can already see all those sweet juicy yellow numbers popping up. :D
My eyes widened and I salivated a bit when I imagined Mangle (Bear) with no cooldown.

I think Its been quoted by a blue that the PoTP has a tool tip error. You still need people in your group to gain the full effect.

Italicized part
- OK, first that came up to my mind when I read this was "WHAT?", but then I remembered from the older build notes.. *scrolls down*
Skills
Shred - Effects which increase Bleed damage also increase Shred damage.
Maul - Effects which increase Bleed damage also increase Maul damage.
And since Mangle increases bleed damage it will still increase Maul and more importantly, Shred damage.
Guess they just wanted to cut down on the tooltip text?
:P
No, due to buffs/debuffs not stacking anymore other buffs were keeping mangle from applying, therefore not making the shreds bigger.... So they made ALL bleed buffers buff those.
AND how can you not get the lowered energy cost of shred talent, yet get the talent that buffs shreds damage? the lower energy (18 energy cheaper!) makes it the great DpE that it is...
btw the threat that that talent USED to provide is BAKED in (or built into) the bear form now... and Swipe hits 4, threatwise swipe is unchanged but for hitting another target... making multimob a little easier even....
btwn the glyph that makes maul hit two, beserk to hit three with constant mangles, and swipe hitting 4 targets (5 with a glyph) aoe tanking should be easier for druids....
This is my
probable 80 build
so far
*EDIT* btw on ptr i realised my armor was 7kish lower and checked on the wotlk wowhead and confirmed that the ONLY leather armor with + armor on it now is pvp gear >< that SUCKS

EDIT:
I just tried making a build, and for the first time since we've been in beta I made a
tanking build
without mourning over sacrificing some other talent.
I would definitely drop Brutal Impact in favor of 10 Expertise.
I have to agree that tanks probably won't be able to take 3/3 shapeshifter anymore. I also agree I probably didn't ever need them as far as tanking goes. Since old-style powershifting doesn't work anymore either, there's even less reason.
The other thing I wonder about is Infected Wounds. Do we know if the attack speed decrease is going to work on boss mobs? If it isn't (and we pretty reliably can assume that the movement speed won't), then I wonder if those points aren't better spent elsewhere. Maybe on tenacity or kotj.
Outside of that, your build is likely going to be the one I use as well.

Yes, it's in line with a Warrior's
Improved
Thunder Clap
, Paladin's
Judgements of the Just
and Death Knight's
Improved
Icy Touch
.
And Thunder Clap works on bosses on live right now, as I know it.

I don't understand this at all. Is the spell interrupt meant to function when the target is immune to your stuns due to DR? How often does that even occur, with Bash being a 1 minute cooldown, or even 30 seconds with talents?

If that's the case, then it will definitely be required. Thanks.
