Question:
Server locations vs Lag. I'm in MST North, and my old server was in Seattle, yet listed as a CST server. Lag was kind of rough, in the area of 160-410 at any given time.
I xfer'd to a PST server, yet found out the server is located in Boston. Lag is alot better around 90-250 or so.
You'd like it'd be god awful if it's clear across the continent no? Why is the seattle based CST server more lagged up than a PST Boston based server?
Opinions:
Recently came back to WoW after a 6 month break. Server I'm on opened up Jan '07 and it's a bit of a change as people are PuGing Kara with a large regularity. Seems as though most high end guilds have all content in game on farm.
Since the expo is due to drop in a few months, think it's really worth it to grind out a 70? Or get up to 70, get some decent gear (i.e. skipping BT/Sunwell), and just money grind so you can rejoin the flow of end game content come the expansion, and have a heavy wallet from grinding.
Thx for the answer to the Question and double thx for any opinions.

no idea for the first one personally
second one, id say definately try and get to 70 at least, no reason not to if you can, may as well enjoy the outland content still
raiding normally definately be difficuly now if you arent 70 yet, so maybe you can try going from kara to early 25 man with a guild, maybe pvp and get a bunch of gear, basically just do whatever you enjoy though, most of the early stuff is going to get replaced fairly easily, so if you dont enjoy pvp, i wouldnt go grinding honor for the sake of epics anymore, id only do it if i enjoyed it
