I made this build for raiding purposes, modifyed from the old good one 10/48/3 for BC, this is for raiding purporses, its supposed that im hit capped too, one target boss.
The points spend on the arcane three is for mana sustent, better regen, im supposing that raid fights will be longer...
let me know your guesses... about hot streaks, i dont like it at all, but it seems good to increase burst damage, taking points out from there to intellect and resistences..
its all, thanks for your comments and guesses, let me know what do you think about this build?
btw: i dont speak english very well... XD sorry about the mistakes...

You're gimping your dps by not taking Living Bomb.

arcane i will run oom like hell... i dont see the changes on living bomb... but i still think that is the worst talent ever created like hots streaks and burnout

Well learn your talents!
Living Bomb as a single-target DoT is greater DPS than Icy Veins, and the mana burned (from the haste or LB) is about equal.
Hot Streak is good because with Combustion, Molten Armor's new 5% crit, Winter Chill affecting Fire crit, you can get a easy 45% crit, considering there's two mages in the raid and no boomkin/eleshaman (highly unlikely), combustion might even give you free hotsteak.
Burnout is AMAZING. At first, it would make you oom like crazy (1% total mana) for 25% crit bonus, but it has been changed awesomely. It now increase crit bonus by 50%, and the mana you lose from it is like making Master of Elements becomes 25% instead of 30.
You are gimping your dps ALOT by not taking it.
Also, it's not DEEP Fire if you don't take the end talents of Fire... right now you're a modified version of Arc/Fire, not Deep Fire.

You're assuming that Arcane in WotLK will work the same as it was in TBC, which is a faulty assumption.
That's the problem with wotlk builds people keep coming up with these days, they're still stuck with outdated mindset.
Newsflash, Deep Fire is no longer the highest DPS spec for mages.

Newsflash, Blizzard said that Arcane mindset will be the exact same as it is right now!
Arcane has highest damage, suckiest efficiency
Frost has the suckiest damage, mana battery
Fire has awesome damage, and not-so-bad efficiency.
I really dont mind Fire not being the highest DPS spec, as long as it deal viable raid dps, and have a good efficiency to not OOM after 3 spells.

When I said mindset, I meant when people assume that only fire will be viable for raids. Or that Arcane will need 2pT5 to be viable. ;)

OH! That kinda mindset... well i already didnt have it in the first place, so i didnt notice you were refering to it :)
I always place "This is a game to have fun" over "zomg ur doin 4.7 less dps than me u suck" (you know what i mean :p) , So even if i truly hate frost (im fire at heart), i dont mind mages who uses it. And i will even mind less when those Frost mages will give me 10% crit :)

i'm there. forget AoE, thats my bet for highest single target DPS over a 5 min or greater period.
yes arcane is higher damage but it ooms VERY quickly and i don't like the playstyle myself anyway.
frost does noticably less damage but i have to say at least one will be taken in a raid in order to get winters chill and frost will be able to go forever if they ever get Imp Water Elemental working /fume.
Pyro.

See, this is what I mean by people being stuck in their mindsets.
What makes you think, exactly, that arcane ooms VERY quickly? Because it was like this in BC?
Or maybe you hadn't noticed the gazillion mana-batteries available in WotLK? Or that Arcane mages are getting a spirit boost, as well as 80% mana regen while casting? Or that AB has been retooled so that not only does it do more damage, it's actually more mana efficient? Arcane Barrage?
Meh.
