If warriors are going to get owned by ret paladins in pvp im going to go ahead and reroll, paladins are the last class i want to get beat by in pvp. Are paladins going to be able to own us warriors?
Did you really join for
that
?

Count on it.
Healing is powerful, ret paladins are now getting strength -> spell power talents, their heals will be larger. They will be able to outlast you and win via attrition.

Paladins have & always will have an innate advantage over any pure melee class. It's called healing & in a game where health points are a top priority, this is key.

Face it warriors are just a primitive, neglected class that needs a healer to be of any use.

I disagree, we are very good on our own, but unstoppable with heals behind us.

Since when did Paladins lose to Warriors?

The only time I've seen a paladin lose to a warrior is when they pop their pewpew wings and lost their ability to godbubble and heal themselves to full. Basically, as long as they have their bubble on cooldown and can put out at least half the DPS of said warrior then can slowly grind them down, provided their mana holds out.

Bandaiding when they bubble can sometimes cause them to panic a bit, either miss a heal or two by interupting you or actually let you bandaid. A smart player will be able to brush this tactic aside but its worth a shot.

The "Retlol paladin" guide from these wowhead forums @
http://www.wowhead.com/?forums&topic=9363
, will assert the contrary. A few links away from this guide is this site
http://retlol.mrgummage.com/?section=4&anchor=4_2a_9
. Go there and get educated.
I've read it already this week, he's wrong.
Second wind is worth ~46.67 healing per second assuming you use Hammer of Justice and repentance every CD. If a paladin cannot burn through that then their problem is not that they haven't blow their wings. Furthermore, when a paladin blows their wings a warrior can swap to D to disarm the pally, grats, you are now doing 130% fist damage. The author also makes the assumption that there is any control over mace spec, and that all warriors have it.
Never enter Defensive (to Disarm) or Battle (to Overpower) Stance without Berserker Rage enabled, it is inviting a Repentance which gives him time to get a heal or two in (and in those six seconds your Mortal Strike will expire).
Is also entertaining. If a warrior switches to defensive in order to disarm a paladin can heal regardless, due to the 1.5 second global cooldown of Disarm, berserker rage is superfluous, as as soon as a paladin sees the defensive stance shield they can safely cast a flash the majority of the time, as a standard swap to defensive macro will incur a global cooldown even though stance swaps don't, in addition to the GCD incurred by disarm.
That being said, a paladin realistically should never
need
to stun a warrior, the 30 damage gain versus a Second Wind proc on JoComm is not in favor of the paladin. However, since warriors have no casts (save slam) to interrupt and generally don't attempt to leave melee range there is no real reason to use a stun on a warrior provided you are proactive about healing. Judge Wisdom on the warrior to increase your healing longevity then simply wear him down. Save your forbearance for an emergency bubble.
