Would this work to kite?

I used to play on a private server to see what class I would like the most, and then come back to retail, and get one.
I was playing a mage on it and I figured out this "perfect" way to kite. See theese talents:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=oi0EbRbdMI0qoVxhzf
Normal Melee kiting:
To start the fight if the opponent hasn't noticed you cast a frostbolt, to slow him down, then he's probably seen you, so pop slow on him, then cast as many scorches as you can untill he get's into frost nova range when he does pop it, blink away, walk a bit while casting ice lance, after Fire blast then keep spamming scorch, always hoping for impact to pop and hit fire blast whenever it finishes CD.
If he gets first hit then...
Cast frost nova, then pop a sprint pot if you have one, if not then blink away and begin scorch spam. Cast slow when it breaks And just keep doing this, basicly same tactic as above.
Rogues (Who obviosly got first hit):
Your sapped oh well, wait for him to pop cheap shot, blink out of it, becuase you have imp. blink and PoM frost bolt him, then slow him so he can barely move, he will most likely pop sprint here, if he does iceblock, as soon as he hits you once, so you can keep iceblock as long as possible for his sprints durriration, it should finish by the time your iceblock does, so blink obviosly, and run away after this blink spamming ice lance nd fire blast, hope hes not sub. (Shadow step) if he DOES pop shadow step save ice nova for when he does this frost nova, and continue ice lance and fire blast spam untill a decent ways away, and then scorch spam, he should die now.
In case he does use cloak of shadows you should be a tad worried, blink, if you have any sprint pots use them, and hope you can stay away from him long enough to conserve mana don't try to use any spells on him hoping for it to not be resisted for this you should be fine, since he's already popped sprint, if he does pop sprint here you should still have ice block. Ice block will make him waste away both his sprint and cloak of shadows.
Casters: Use slow obviosly pop silence when he gets near the end of a spell. Spam scorch and fire blast, hoping for impact to pop thus inturrupting casting time. If you are silenced /guffaw at them.
Could somone please test theese tactics out for me on a retail 70 mage? I would like to know if it would work.
Thanks in advance.

You forgot to account for Cloak of Shadows.
Fixed.
Edit: Also added to fighting casters in case they silence you.

^ Solid reponse to a mediocre kiting post. Mages have a lot more ways to keep away from rogues though, what about blastwave or dragon's breath if they're fire? or the Water elemental, or coldsnap FN after your CoS is up, or Ice armor (which is better imo in pvp for the snare) if they're frost.?
Long story short... you can't ever anticipate EVERYTHING the other class will use, and this goes for the OP as well. You can't just have a certain idea that when facing X class perform Y and Z in this order they die. The best part of PVP is that it's dynamic, and what works on some people may not work on others. And it's reacting on the fly, and adapting to each person that makes pvp interesting and fun. :)

What about blind you never said blind......i doubt you had trinket on private server.....dunno. Theres lots of things that play factor, I dont think that would work against a rogue at all really. Crip poison insta shiv. and soo much more
If I saw you i wouldn't cheapshot, you can't assume all rogues suck like your private servers ones bud. I'd garrote you, CB muti, go ahead and blink I'll be on top of you, or Frost nova ill just CoS then follow you, you can cast w.e you want i'll deadly throw. You are slowed again and i interrupted your cast. Garrote is most likely done now so i'll just blind - stealth garrote again and muti. then i'll cheapshot you and positon myself in a way i can easy interrcept that blink (shiving b4). Ice block will just help me energy regen. I'll wait and if I dont manage to get you i'll deadly throw your cast. and muti you. Dead.
If you were PvP geared i'd try to push that trinket outta you.
Accualy I did have the PvP trinket.
About poisons I don't see much rogues using poisons when playing my friends 70 hunters, in AV or WSG or anything, so I wouldn't need to worry abotu that, if it does happen oh well, you died once, if you have anti-venom congratulations. Keep in mind Deadly Throw does require combo points and with what I said you don't get much hits at me, if your lucky 1 combo point for it. If blinded PvP trinket, I didin't need much use for the PvP trinket on the server, I had trinkets that gave haste rather. But you do bring up a good point.
On the pirvate server I used to play there we're some decent rogues that would kill you upon first hit, before you can even pop blink, and there we're some that just stratagized instead of blowing me away A.S.A.P.
Mibson keep in mind that Entangling roots IS casted, see what I said about fighting casters, silence them as soon as their spell is done with imp. counter spell. Why would I need to kite a mage or hunter? I told you just slap slow on them, and their spell castings slowed. For hunter I havn't really thought of anything on the P server I spammed scorch is all, as stupid as that is, and came out shining half the time. As for paladins you can use ice block alone as a PvP trinket, pop it your out of the stun, then break iceblock as soon as you pop it.
Keep in mind no tactic is perfect.

Sir, I would offer advice, but my brain is in the midst of a divide-by-no-punctuation error. I can't believe how many periods and commas you have in that pargraph, and none of the periods save one actually stop a sentence. 0_o
Beyond that... nice idea.
