Well, if the recent article on Uther is any indication, then we know where Arthas is. I suspect it will very much be a Bolvar vs Arthas situation from 3.4 and I think that's rad. Kael'thas, Kel'thuzad, Sapphiron, Bolvar, Uther, Jaina, are all in. How can they NOT give us Arthas?
Slands is going to be so damn cool
wasnt arthas confirmed in the maw ?
Come one guys, just look at what happened in Legion, WoD sucked so hard that they bringed Illidan back, there's no way that they're not going to put Arthas in Shadowlands, they have to hipe the expansion with everything they can so it doesn't suck like BfA
is it still supposed to be a surprise when we figure out arthas is going to be in expansion? seriously it's like BFA all over again when we weren't supposed to know it was an old god expansion. it's like we get it. BFA was worse than WoD, you needed to break out Illidan to recover from WoD, only one better to bring out to recover from BFA is Arthas.
we'll get whole naxxramas recycled in sl. wow's allways content recycling
I would love, very much, to see Arthas return as the great mastermind behind everything. I always wanted for Sylvanas to be manipulated by him once again just before he get ride of her definitively. Making her whole storyline ending in a very ironical and bitter way for her.She fought with everything she has to avenge herself and her people from what Arthas did to them and end up serving his design without knowing it once again. Not everyone end with an heroic stand, some people just got stab in an alley and end up dying alone. We need that kind of bittier end too.Thing is, I'm pretty much sure she's manipulating the Jailer to take his job and will put herself in a position that we need her to beat him leaving her behind by the end of the expansion as new jailer and probably warden of Arthas giving her everything she wished for.A more surprising way to end her story woudl be to have her trying to take the Jailer's job like I just said just to have Tyrande killing her just when she explains we need her to beat the Jailer, that would be cool aswell, putting us in an ocean of trouble by killing her, but so satisfying for everything she did !
Could Kel'thuzad be working on some sort of plan to break his master Arthas out of jail (the Maw) ? He has always been portrayed as unconditionally loyal to Arthas and the Lich King, so that would make sense.
I think that Sapphiron could likely be rised and wreck havoc in prepatch, while we are busy taking over ice crown again.
My money is on Arthas leading the Forsaken after proving himself a worthy leader somehow.
