Ok...There is some positive actually. It is WAY MORE easy to balance a class with a class-system than an overall system like Azerite/Corruption.I'm not talking about the grind. Because we don't know yet how it is going to be. But example : Nerfing Corrupion N°3 is going to affect ALL the classes and you can't target one particular class without changing the class itself. But if the systems are more class-oriented, well it makes the system adjustable for each class and therefore balancing easier. Not taking Blizzard Side, but I gotta admit I'm not that worried about conduits.

I just want to PvP casually with my buddy :( These system gated behind PvE, time and long grinds completely ruin our experience. Selfishly I hope this won't go live.
I want nothing to do with a 16s counterspell cooldown vs a mage in PvP. Oh boy...
if an individual chooses to leave a covenant - all progress and renown is restored if you decide to come back. Nothing is lost which is cool. This has been confirmed multiple times as well.
This expansion is going to be fun but there is going to be great balance issues. It will be acceptable if Legendary items will be disabled from PvP. It is impossible to balance out the game with so much utility and if you choose an underdog class for arena you will be in the world of trouble. Unless you are Rank1, then perhaps you can make anything to work to some extend with but with a sweat though.
thank god for that.
Oh dear god...I mean it's nice to see them have some progression...but I really hope they don't do the mobile merge bull!@#$ where you need 1024 rank 1s to reach rank 10...
Remember when we just played the type of content we enjoyed and earned gear (or points for gear) from that? Now it takes multiple spreadsheets, guides, to know how to play the game, where to find the "best" things for our character, etc. Not only does that ruin any bit of immersion that remains, but it's boring and absolutely puts off any new player. There are some new systems I like, such as WQs, that feel like a natural, good part of the game. But these temporary systems, ugh - my mind goes back to the end of Legion where we tossed our artifact weapon in the garbage can, or what's about to happen now with corruption gear, azerite, etc. It's not like these things last 10 years each. As I get older and time goes by faster, I become less and less interested in anything that is temporary. I can already foresee the end of SL when all this too will get dumped unceremoniously in the trash. And yet here we are panicking, complaining, etc. It all seems like a huge waste! But someone at Blizz has to put their "stamp" on the product so they can add it to their CV I guess.
