Well, i love to do dps, i don't need to do the best, but doing the dps is my kinda thing, but it seems that majority of the players tend to think that, paladins, feral druids can't do dps at all....i know a rogue does better, i ain't disputing that, i am just saying that both classes has a dps tree...well a druid has a dps/tank tree.

This has been talked about wayyyy too many times, to be honest. Retadins bring a heck of a lot of DPS to the table. They have been known to out DPS other pure DPS classes, but really that's probaby cause the pure classes are falling behind. But all in all, retadins bring a lot of DPS to a raid. Now, here's what they bring support wise:
1) Improved Blessing of might: An extra 4DPS per BoM. Not much, but spread that around the entire raid and you just boosted the raids DPS once more.
2) Improved Judgement of the crusader: +3% crit for ANY offensive ability that can crit. Trinkets, rings, whatever! More Raid DPS increase.
3) Improved Sanctity aura: +2% damage increase is not too much, but then again a retadin isn't about "group support". It opts for "raid support" instead. Hence the reason you only really need one. Still, 2% adds up quite a bit and that's from every ability you have that causes damage.
4) Crusader Strike: With other healadins in the raid (And there always are) this is yet another example of the raid support the retadin offers. Imagine JotC/JoW/JoL at the same time throughout the entire fight. That's amazing. Mana users lasting longer = more DPS, melee live longer, and the raid is killing the BFT faster too.
5) aside from that, a retadin CAN off tank if need be. And in some cases off heal. I'm not going to mention the fact that they bring an extra blessing cause ALL pallies can say that lol.
Hope this answer most questions :)

I know all this, but most closed minded idiots refuse to accept it.
