Nope. Seems solid Morginar.
Sweet, was afraid of nerdrage on her being an blood elven dark ranger becouse i think "died in Quel'thalas" is a bit cliché.
The alliance is run by incompetent pink monkeys who die before they accomplish anything noteworthy, aside from being stupid and tactless. And somehow the kaldorei got caught up in the mess.
Coment: Hahahahahaha.

Can't believe I haven't posted here yet.
Character Name
: Vincent Gaillard
Race
: Human
Gender
: Male
Age
: Has been claiming he's just turned twenty-five for at least two decades. Looks the part, though.
Class
: Duelist
View on Faction
: Any ties to the Alliance are broken, if they had ever existed in the first place. Though he believes that serving the Alliance would be too confining and chafing, he is rather loyal to his long-term employers, the Venture Bay Company.
Their View on the 'Bad Guys'
: Bad for business; running into them tends to be anything but fun. Of course, technically he
is
one of the 'Bad Guys', though on a small scale.
Personality
: Laid-back and relaxed, outgoing and cheerful, Vincent likes to live life to its fullest. And he does not much care how many people he has to slay if they stay between him and his fun.
Family
: Deceased parents; Helen Valois nee Gaillard, sister; Francis Valois, brother-in-law; Bruce Valois, nephew. Helen thinks he has died prior to her meeting Francis, thus her husband and son do not know of him.
Description
: A fine specimen of the human race, broad of shoulders and slim in the waist, Vincent has a handsome, if somewhat pale, narrow face with sharp cheekbones. His hair is long and straight, its graying blonde color a contrast to his youthful appearance, and his eyes are deep-set and icy blue despite his seemingly warm demeanor.
Vincent wears black plate armor, adorned with spikes and augmented with runic engravings, and over it a hooded cloak, black as well. Heavy though his garb is, his movements remain fluid and graceful, almost serpentine in nature.
Background
: Vincent used to earn his living fighting in the underground brawler rings, and at one point was believed to receive a fatal injury. Though his gladiator peers saw his body dragged away and tossed into the corpse pit, he woke in the presence of a high elf in a reclusive lodge many miles away. The said elf saw potential in the young human and took him as an apprentice, teaching him the secrets of swordsmanship Vincent had never even dreamed of. They wandered Azeroth for some time until finally the human outgrew his master, challenging the other to a brutal duel. He won, claiming the enchanted blood-drinking sword Gwaesylwir for himself. What were the elf's motives and whether he lives to this day, only Vincent knows, and this is the one story he's not eager to tell. From that day the swordsman traveled on his own, fighting and killing for fun and profit until finally fate led him to the Venture Bay Company.

We actually don't have many dark rangers or death knights which really begs the question why they're never used, if the reason they're never used is because they're overdone...
Who knows. /shrug, maybe it is due to the narrow background you need to work on? Killed by the scourge and ressed by a necromancer/lich/death knight in eaither WC3 or in Acherus: the ebon hold.

Perhaps the same reason as demon hunters? They're one of those "classes" with a mary sue stigma to them, because of the major role they play in-game.
Despite the fact we see plenty of Demon Hunters and Dark Rangers, people seem to have this instant thought you're trying to copy Illidan/Sylvannas.
I might write up one for Vira....

There's also just the fact that 90% of Death Knights are just the same character with different backstories.

Character Name: Fumiki Bloodpaw
Race: pandaren
Gender: female
Age: unsure, estimated to be 20-25
Class: warrior/brewmaster
View on Faction: Despite all the internal turmoil of late, Fumiki still has faith in the Horde. She was there, more or less, from the beginning. She knows it's been through far worse than Garrosh's idiocy, and she'd still be willing to die for it. However, with things heating up in Orgrimmar...let's just say she's been sleeping with one eye open. Of course, she hates the Alliance, and they hate her.
Their view on the 'bad guys': Fumiki doesn't care much for the driving motives behind "villains". As long as they pose a threat to her or her family, they're fair game.
Personality: Fumiki is a proud warrior with a love for combat. To her, there's no feeling quite like hacking your foes to pieces with a massive hunk of metal. She's really friendly, really talkative, and a bit too trusting at times. Buy her a few drinks and you'll always have someone to back you up in a fight.
Family?: Yes. Her parents were explorers from the Wandering Isle. She lived there herself for a few years, before the family moved to Kalimdor. She also has a younger brother, Ken Bloodpaw, who grew up to be a mage. Despite the two being of opposite faction, she still loves him.
A description of your character: Like most pandaren, she's a big girl. She is clad in plate armor, black as night (
http://www.wowhead.com/compare?items=47696:32323:35066:45833:77170:77185:39258
). Her hair is black as well, with the exception of one streak dyed red, and tied back into pigtails. Her face is scarred, yet she is almost never seen without a smile. Sheathed on her back is a large warblade (
Armageddon
); it has seen much use. She carries herself with pride, ready to face whatever fate has to throw at her.

How was she with the Horde from the beginning?

Character name: Laurala WhiteLake
Race: Highborne Night Elf
Gender: Female
Class: Mage
Age: Several thousand years old, She was born after the Sundering in the place now called Dire Maul.
Views on Faction: A somewhat grumbly follower of Mordent Evershade, at first she cared nothing for the Alliance or it's various members, but when her younger sister volunteered to join the group of highborne that were leaving Kalimdor to see the rest of the world firsthand, she immediately joined as well (at first just to watch out for her overly excitable sister). As she and her fellows journeyed, she found to her surprise that she actually liked the Alliance and what it stood for! Not that she is eager to tell anyone this (she still has her pride). She has even purchased a home for herself and her sister in the Mage district of Stormwind.
Her change in behavior was started, in at least some ways, by an encounter with as human paladin named Balder Somerveil. A man she is (to her consternation) finding surprisingly attractive.
Their view on bad guys: Despite her somewhat grumpy nature, she has an extreme sense of justice sometimes, and cares very little for those who we can call "bad guys." Though, since she has been with her people up to the beginning of Cata, she has never actually met the one's you list, but she will consider a threat anyone who threatens her sister (and her friends, not that she'd ever call them that (yet)).
Personality: Harsh and professional often, though she will sometimes show surprising signs of softness. She has a fondness for vanity pets and became extremely attached to a baby Lashtale Raptor she met in Stranglethorn vale (when it was kidnapped she swore at the top of her lungs to rip the Bloodlord's brains out through his nose). She is often brusque with her friends but she is surprisingly loyal to them as well. If you make friends with her, expect it to be a lifetime one, though not always obviously so.
Description: Beautiful, as many Highborne woman are, though her face is often decorated with a look of intense concentration or disinterest. She has silver white hair, and has gone through a surprising amount of robes since she began traveling with her sister. Her one constant is her Alchemist stone, a perfect sphere, glowing with a beautiful violet light. It was her most successful creation through alchemy and she is quite proud of it. She usually carries a staff carved for her from her father from enchanted wood, and decorated with an glowing white crystal near the top.
Profession: An experienced master at Alchemy and Herbalism. She is a transmutation master, and is confident of being able to create anything necessary through her art. She believes that a good profession is necessary for any good night elf, and is trying to get her sister to choose one.

Name: Karatha Kingston
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Hunter
Age: 26.
Views on faction: Alliance all the way! She is a deep supporter of the Alliance and it's goals. While somewhat wary of Varian Wrynn following his return from imprisonment, since his purification by the Worgen, she has become a steadfast supporter of the king.
Views on bad guys: Sadly she only knows the "bad guys" through second hand stories from those who fought them, Her journey through Pandaria the first time she has actually been out adventuring.
Appearance: Bright red hair, and and a cheerful face, she usually wears Mail armor, and carries a variety of rifles in her pack with her (she collects them, along with various engineering gadgets). She is accompanied at all times by Rupert, her loyal but somewhat cowardly, pet Black Bear.
Personality: Friendly, and always up for a new challenge, she is constantly on the lookout for new engineering plans, or interesting looking guns (she'll use a bow sometimes, but she won't like it). Occasionally a bit of a "daddy's little girl," her mother is possibly the only thing she is actually scared of.
History: Daughter of noble birth, her father was Chancellor Roderick Kingston (one of the people who handle's Varian's paperwork so he doesn't have to). When she saw her brother (Roderick jr.) go off to help fight the Lich King (he came back with a zombified right arm, it has a tendency to reach out and punch people suddenly), she immediately began practicing with a rifle, and learning from various hunters about how to use their skills. When Varian sent out a call for heroes to search the South Seas for the missing Prince Anduin, she jumped at the chance.
After convincing her father that she was not going to come home "Knocked up by some two-bit adventurer," She left with the Skyfire and a load of hired adventurers (some of which could be called two-bit). Now she explores Pandaria and helps the Alliance forces fight the Horde their.
Profession: She began to study engineering while her brother was in Northrend, and has an incredible passion for it, rivaling some of the most dedicated gnomes. She also is in mining (when her father heard about this he almost had a heart attack).

(I'm just now getting back into WoW so I'll post a bio of my old main.)
Character Name: Teralan Baast
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 67 (When last I RPed him)
Class: Paladin
View on Faction: Teralan believes that the Alliance is the greatest force currently organized, and fights for it whenever he can. He has some disdain for it, however, for what he believes was an arrogant ignorance to the plight of the Scarlet Crusade when he still served them.
View on "Bad Guys": He recognizes Kael'thas as a good leader doing only what he thought was best. Illidan was similiar, but had terrible luck. The Lich King is a tragedy, and must be obliterated in the name of the Light.
Personality: A veteran Paladin of the Silver Hand and Scarlet Crusade (Once upon a time), Teralan has always been known as a bold, courageous, and honorable man. While in public, he behaves as you would expect most Paladins to, his every action condoned by the Light itself, but in his social circles and in battle, he unleashes his true self: A furious battle-scarred warrior with a limited sense of mercy and a fragile mind.
Family: He has alot, having been around for a while and sleeping with many women. His eldest son is Beytran, a half-elven Ranger of the Alliance. He also has a brother, also a Paladin, named Kildaroy, who continues his legacy.
Description: A behemoth of a man, standing at a solid 6'4", Teralan would have been perfectly suited as a normal Warrior, but his faith gave him the life of a Paladin, and so one often finds him wearing heavy plate and a massive two handed weapon. Back in his youth he was often compared to Arthas Menethil, for they both shared striking similarities such as their long, blonde hair, and charming voices. Women liked him alot, especially the Dwarves.
History: Born and raised in the glory days of Lordaeron, Teralan grew to be an exemplary Paladin of the Silver Hand, befriending Alexandros Mograine and falling under the tutelage of Saiden Dathrohan. He fought in several wars, but came into fame during the Second, where he fought alongside Anduin Lothar and Turalyon against the Horde. When the Third War came around, Teralan followed his friend Alexandros, and his mentor Saiden to help form the Scarlet Crusade, where he served until he was alienated by Dathrohan, which showed Teralan that the Crusade was corrupt and no longer an army of Light like it once was. He then left to serve Stormwind in the new Silver Hand, becoming one of the Alliance's foremost champions, especially during the Burning Crusade where he and his brother found many victories against the lieutenants of the Burning Legion. This was where he eventually lost sight of his ideals, however. After defeating a powerful Dreadlord named Zarathorn, and trapping his spirit inside his own blade, Lan'tarrel, Teralan was forced to grapple with the Demon inside his mind, driving him mad by the time of the Cataclysm. He would eventually die at the hands of his guild-mates after an attempt to kill his own brother in a fit of rage.

How can he be part of the Silver Hand before the Second War? It wasn't created till that point.

I didn't explicitly say Tera was a Paladin of the Silver Hand before the Second War. When I mention he became a Paladin that was in the first sentence which I intended to be an overview. I probably should have clarified that more, though. Sorry, it's been a year and a half since I last RPed this guy.

Character Name: Koyon
Race: half-Night Elf, half-Troll
Gender: Male
Age: *very* young (like, 9? We'll say he's mature for his age...)
Class: Druid
View on Faction: Follows alliance as means to an end, and also as he looks more like a night elf than a troll, as well as being born to his mother, a night elf druid; his skin is blue and his hair is more similar to that of a troll's, but he's tall like a NE. Being between the two factions from a racial standpoint, he carries views that are more similar to that of the Cenarion Circle. However, his mother was killed by BE mage and as such, he has little taste for magic outside of pure, natural magic, and the light of Elune. He reveres dragons to be the highest form of living, but fears that their power could consume the races of Azeroth in destruction.
Personality: He's light-hearted in humor and enjoys puns. His drive is to help others and better himself so that he can continue helping those he cares for.
Family: See above; his father was an unknown melee class, likely a warrior. They met in Silithus: the mother was a clothier at Cenarion Hold while his father was passing through to Ahn'Qiraj; he stayed in the Hold for many days as his army prepared themselves for battle. It is during this time that his mother fell in love with him. His father died in combat, but his body was preserved thanks to the actions of the mother's brother, a sniper for the Alliance; though he disapproved of his sister's interest in the troll, he saw how she loved him. She preserved his memory by making a necklace of his armor and an unbroken tusk (worn now by Koyon, joined with a prized ring by mother that is said to be given to her by his father).
Descrip: He loves nature and spending time alone in it, often gathering herbs to experiment with. He refuses to attack the opposing faction out of respect for Orcs, Tauren, and Trolls, though if faced with danger, he would defend himself or his loved ones against them (he has less reservation against Goblins and Undead, and even less against BE). He understands the Pandaren's difficulties in the sense that they are forced to leave their family for one faction or the other.

Um...yeah, well it is possible to be a half-troll half-elf(I actually have a full family of them but they are from a RP set in the future) the idea that the father was a troll druid, when they've only been around for about 3 years or so, really couldn't be possible. And you may want to have the father as the Night Elf druid, since female druids are very rare and have only started appearing in the last 10 years.

See, but time travel was involved!
I'm totally jk. I'm new to the timeline and didn't realize it correlated exactly with WoW I suppose. Nix him then! (although I still like the idea T.T)
