This should play WoW nicely. I have a 4GB 1050 and a i7 that's 4 years old with 16GB of RAM, and sit around 120 FPS in raids, and around 90 FPS in Dalaran. So with a current gen core i7 and 8GB DDR4 RAM you should do slightly better.

That's a pretty similar setup to my work laptop which I've used for WoW many times on work trips. It plays smoothly and looks good. I almost prefer it to playing on my home desktop.

Go to the Notebook Review forums - they will give you the best advise. They have a "What Notebook Should I Buy?" forum. There's a basic form to fill in. The NVidia 1050 is a pretty gimped GPU from my understanding and is equivalent to the old 9XX GPUs. My understanding is 1060 GPU is the minimum for gaming. WoW is very GPU intensive...
I am looking at a new laptop myself. The same forum has a sticky "Gaming Laptop Guide - Pascal Edition" which is kept up to date.

Dell Inspiron 15 5000 would be a great and cheap laptop that would be awesome for gaming.
