Got a new gaming PC a months ago and have an old Dell gaming laptop at home, which is not used for some time. The problem is that I for got the login password of the old laptop and I need to pull of all downloaded games from it to my new PC.
How to remove the annoying login password without reinstall?

My approach would be to use a Linux LIVE-CD.
As your hard disk is probably not encrypted you will be able to access all data on the mounted volume.
There are several Linux LIVE-CDs.
Short breakdown how a scenario could look like with ubuntu:
- download ubuntu image
- burn on CD
- Boot Dell Laptop
from CD
(you might have to take care of your boot order)
- operating system is fully loaded into RAM without installing anything
- access the hard disk and pull all data to an attached storage, e.g. USB
- attach storage to your new gaming PC and migrate

This workflow sounds great but it is a bit time consuming. I prefer resetting or removing the password only. Thanks

just try Ophcrack, it's free, you don't need any access to Windows to be able to recover your lost passwords. From another computer, visit the site, download the free ISO image, burn it to a CD or flash drive, and then boot from it.
if it won't work, there still some other ways to help reset windows password like ntpassword, ophcarck, WinGeeker and more..

Try PCUnlocker or Kon-Boot.They can bypass Windows login authentication so you can access the system.
