You can tank him where he stands at the edge of that clear floor. Have your melee line up along the edge and dps him. Ranged stand back and dps as usual. When he casts his polarity crap, have all positives near each other and negatives near each other. Melee or not. He'll fall eventually.

Well, his butt needs to be facing the elevator so melee can ensure DPS when they do get the chance. The most important thing to remember is that the tank comes first, melee comes second (in regards to healing).
How do melee survive? Well, they do have to get heals now & then, but for the most part when they take a bomb or two. . .get out of there & bandage! It's not a melee fight really, but it's not exactly impossible. Healers may have a hard time healing two melee, but the main thing is that no one touches him when they the shield is up.
Now, on Heroic, he is much easier, =) The entire fight changes on Heroic though, so don't worry about it for now.

Still don't get why he's easier on heroic than regular lol

Because everything hits harder & they already knew the fight was ridiculous on normal mode. Imagine the same mechanics with damaged pumped up x5 -- aiyah!
