Good News! Blizzard has an
Item Restoration Service that you can use once every 15 days to restore items!
Here are the finer details:
You can use Battle.net Item Restoration to recover sold, destroyed, or disenchanted items. In most cases, you’ll receive the restoration in your in-game mailbox immediately.
Item RestorationIf you can’t find a toy or heirloom item, check your collections tab before you use item restoration. To recover a deleted character,
use character undelete in-game.
Note: If items were sold, destroyed, or disenchanted during a recent compromise, please
submit a ticket.
Restrictions
If you have an active World of Warcraft account in good standing (not locked or banned), you can use item restoration once every 15 days.
You can’t use item restoration to recover items lost through trade, crafting, and use. If you're trying to recover a stackable item, you'll need to
contact us for assistance. For all other items, if it's not on the list, it's not available for restoration. Restored items cannot be traded.
Note: The restoration list doesn’t show items that were sold, destroyed, or disenchanted before a Faction Change or Character Transfer.
Disenchanted / Obliterated Items
When you use item restoration to recover a disenchanted or obliterated item, the system will remove any materials gained when destroying the item. Make sure you have the materials in your bags before using the Item Restoration service, or you will not be able to complete the process.
Heirloom Items
Heirloom items are added to your collections tab when you log on to a character that owns those items. Make sure you log on to each character before checking the Item Restoration service for Heirloom items. Game Masters cannot assist with recovering these items.
SourceHopefully it wasn't too long ago that the item was vendored and it is on the list of recoverable items. Good Luck!
