LOL! This is a fun thread. I didn't read it all tho.
To you that think the mine get's reported all the time. You aren't doing it fast enough. If you get reported, you are attacking stuff, and should negate being reported.
I said kick for inactive and not let them enter that bg server again. Re log another bg, and if you get THREE in a day, you get a 24 hour ban. This lets you answer the phone, take that huge dump, pay for your pizza, throw your girl a bone, or what ever. If you are constantly unable to play the bg, and get reported 3 times, oh well. Maybe the next day will be better for your wow playing. Or you could learn to multi task. Just a suggestion.
Those of you that don't think this is a good idea, should think about a new hobby other than afk grinding honor. Maybe go troll the wow forums like a good nerd. =P

Problem:
Everyone has seen them, reported them but seen them repeat it because they always find a way to go around the system. It's pretty annoying and frustrating when you know that a victory could've been possible if those freeloaders moved their butts and helped on defense or offense. There where times when the player or players who were AFK were even taunting us by messaging all of us on BG chat. There was one guy who was an azzhole even boasted that "I've been playing bg all day so let me stay here (cave)" Yeah right like we owe you some gratitude.
Answer:
Make the caves a
non
pvp zone meaning you don't get any points from beginning til end unless you move out and go to battle. Everyone and I mean
ALL of US
are flagged out of battle unless you leave the cave and go to areas that are hot spots: Towers, graveyards, bunkers, bosses & main roads. Most fights happen there so it is best to
be there
or else you get flagged out in a few minutes (2 mins best). You instantly get flagged out when you step inside the starting cave. Some may argue that a lot of fights happen outside hot spots like in the woods, mines, summon area, under the bridge or near the deep pond so thats for the 2 minute window to get back to the hot spot or find a nearby opponent in the same area or else get flagged out of battle in 2 mins.
My point:
If you want to earn points then work for those points by being active. No more AFK players smooching off us.
That wont work. My bot made me run out of the cave and port to dun baldar.

what about every minute you stand still doing nothing you earn 25% less honor?
Does defending the bridge count as "standing still and doing nothing?"

why don't we design a new wow keyboard (that has to be used, every other keyboards will be made incompatible) which has a sensor if someone is really behind his comp when he's in a BG?
if he went afk and comes back, a knife will appear from under the spacebar to cut off his hands...
if someone sleeps on his keyboard... well then it'll get really bloody...
