People just are so desperate to know what's coming that they eat up misinformation, and take it as face value (I used to be the same, trust me >.>)
This isn't misinformation, this is accurate, but early information.

Well Kelesti only time will tell us if you're right but regarding COH and it's move to a 6 second cooldown, I believe that it's still an overall upgrade because of it's INSANE utility now. Yeah it used to be Spammable but look at the CRAZY HPS you'll do by hitting 15 or 20 people at ONCE. Isn't that worth it? If I'm trying to catch up 5 groups on HP and we're all in relative range of one another, I cast 5 different circles of healing, that will takeway more than 6 seconds, no? Really we're talking about an equivalent amount of healing chunked into ONE bigarse slam. What other class can boast such a skill?

None. I believe, and so do the 6 other holy Priests in my guild, that this is going to be a huge upgrade. I've used COHing myself for random respecing, though I still lack experiance in raid healing, and this spell is amasing by itself, let alone for healing the ENTIRE RAID. So what you cant spam it?! Get 4 Holy Priests with this spell and get them to all use it in tandem, and there goes any AoE damage your raid is going to fret over.

A) You have to group up your entire raid within 15 feet of your target, which completely voids the point of "Spread out so we all don't take AoE"
--or, as is the
usual
raid scenario--
B) You can use it once on your casters or once on your melee, and your effective raid healing is scrapped.
With a) yeah, sure it's an upgrade but people generally don't increase damage taken to increase utility of a healing spell. So scenario b) becomes the most likely.
Why not give chain heal a CD. qq Even spread out, it ignores group confines. Effective Gimp inc, brace yourself.

I have seen these changes everywhere- they're all over the Internet, you just have to know where to look. I have seen tons of BS ones that you can just tell are unbalanced. I believe this is giving us a good gist of what's going to happen. It looks like Shadow is finally fixed! I made myself a build though, and it seems ridiculously overpowered lol, but I am going to milk it for all it's worth and I will cry when they get nerfed- I feel like we can take whatever other changes the other classes are going through with this. Dispersion is wicked cool- too bad it doesn't last a little longer or give a little more.
VT is the only nerf- it may also get a buff for it's nerf as well- like for the whole raid instead of just the party? Or maybe it's mana cost is going to go down, or maybe just maybe it'll be instant cast? Anyway, I sure hope it gets buffed to go with the nerf.
It looks like I'm going to finally stop having to dip into Discipline so far! I heard this was Blizzard's apology for nerfing us so badly before- it looks like all the Priest QQ on the Priest forums finally paid off.
Yay, my husband (Rogue) won't beat me in duels anymore!

no we are actually taking back all the spell dmg lost due to all past nerfs
we ll also get crit strike dmg bonus , bonus from spells on target , bonus from spi etc etc etc so the 3% lost is immiadiately balanced due to the fact that our spells hit harder and thus become more effective.
so i dont think that after the recent regen changes , vt regen is nerfed with this change. but we ll see
there are months of tests remaining
Completely agree with frapes and Oscar in this, Priests are getting denerfed. Personally, with all of the added damage SPreists are going to be able to do, I'm not too worried about the 2% mana return. The only thing im not looking forward to if all of these 'leaks' are legit and not imagined up, is the possibility of loss of the grinding power of a SPriest. No other class can beat us in grinding if youre speced right with the correct gear.
As Ive stated before, the thing that I'm most interested in with Priests in WotLK are the defensive spells/passives.

I agree, i think VT is not a nerf...maybe we get a lot of dmg boost so it is almost the same amount of mana regen in the end

Compared with the warrior changes, our new talents seem like a nerf to me. Particularly the VT change irks me. I mean, look at the Fury ability: They can now dual wield 2handed weapons AND they have instant strikes. That ability alone should make most rogues cream their pants.
I don't know if i like Titan's Grip all that much. Especially for PVE.
First, the simple fact it's a 2Her means it's already 3.5-3.7 speed. The talent also increases the delay between swings anywhere from 30% to 20% depending on how many points you put into a talent. If we're at 3.5 spd already and looking at going 20% slower than that.. clocking in at over 4.0 speed.. slower than the slowest weapon in the game.
So you're swinging every 4 seconds with your 2Hed weapons. You also have to realize that going from having 1 weapon to DWing changes your inherent miss rate from 5% to like, 24%. It sure hurts missing every 3.5 seconds with a 2H weapon.. but you'll be missing A LOT more once you're DWing two 2Hed weapons.
So it's seeming like a Fury warrior's primary stats are going to be hit and haste if Fury will center around titan's grip now. I don't know if Blizzard will have enough itemization points it'll need left over after adding all that hit and haste to add silly things like crit rating or AP. ;)
But as far as priests are concerned.. I'm definitely happy with the changes made to Shadow. Psychic Horror is hardly overpowered because with all the new fear breaks in WotLK.. PScream was becoming even more useless. It's also about time they added Imp Shadowform.
I'm a bit unimpressed with the changes made to Disc so far. I haven't played much with CoH yet so I'm not sure if that's a buff or a nerf.. because they're adding a cooldown but increasing the number of potential healing targets CoH can affect.
Disc is still a PVP tree, but its good Blizz finally added a few things that actually helped their healing throughput.
Overall, definitely a buff for shadow priests, but for holy and disc it's still way too early to tell whether or not I wanna keep my priest holy or go shadow and enjoy my uninterruptible mind flays. ;)
