About an hour ago I made some transmog sets as Equipment Sets in a custom list. Upon adding a weapon to this set and attempting to open its link in a new tab, my browser - Mozilla Firefox, version 44.0.2 - crashed (stopped responding) and I had to restart it.
When I did, I could not longer browse models. The error message stated:
"WebGL not supported by your browser, please go to
https://get.webgl.org/
for support."
See this screenshot for more information:

When I browse my list of equipment sets with Google Chrome, however, I have no issue whatsoever and I can perfectly see the model. I tried clearing the cache and wowhead cookies on Firefox, but that did not solve the issue. There are no updates for my video driver, either (it's up to date). Hardware acceleration is enabled in my Firefox settings.
When I go to
https://get.webgl.org/
on Firefox, it gives me the message:
"While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or unavailable.
On Google Chrome, I can see the spinning cube just fine when I browse this link.
Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem with my Firefox?
Hey Gimroth,
Try checking to make sure webgl is enabled for your firefox browser.
You can press the menu button in the top right corner, then preferences->advanced->general
and make sure the box next to 'Use hardware acceleration when available' is checked.

Cheers for your reply. The box is checked for said option, so hardware acceleration is enabled.
Since a picture says more than a thousand words:

(note that the language is dutch).
*Update*: I turned this option
OFF
to test it out, then restarted Firefox. When I started it again, models actually showed again. When I turned the hardware acceleration back
ON
, it still worked! :)
Apparently these actions triggered something in my browser that fixed the issue.

Good to know! Glad everything worked out!
I'll remember your impromptu solution for others.

Hey Everyone,
We believe we have squashed most, if not all, of this patch's modelviewer bugs.
Missing thumbnails for the new models are coming soon.
I should have them uploaded by tonight.
If models are still not showing up for you, please do two things first.
Clear your browser's cache
Make sure webgl is enabled
Blizzard is settling down with major changes to their models.
Which means we will have a faster, more reliable pipeline to churn out new models.
Thank you all for your patience!

Ok, so I'm back to square one. Same problem.
After reading here on this page that it's been fixed, I went and did that, cleared cache after you said it had been fixed and now it worked. Except I loaded a couple of outfits' pages, their models all loaded as they should, except now any new page I try to load fails to load anything.
Even if I ctrl+F5 to clear that page's cache and reload it, there's the white progress bar and then nothing once that reaches 100%. I tried manually clearing Chrome's cache like I did just half an hour ago and that wasn't working either. I can't use dressing room and I can't view outfits anymore.
Cleared cache and restarted Chrome and it just loads, then once a model viewer is done loading, it just stays blank, same as before.
Nothing I try works. As a last resort I've completely cleaned out everything on Chrome except my browser history, including cache and cookies, and
https://get.webgl.org/
shows I properly have WebGL enabled.
I even tried disabling it, then re-enabling it like some other user above had to do on Firefox. I'm at a loss as to what to do because I'm just getting the same issue I was getting yesterday, which was seemingly fixed a few hours ago only to bug out again in the same way it did yesterday.
Update, played around a bit. It seems everything works... except female Worgen on model viewer.
Dressing room loads a Human male Warrior in Oathsworn equipment by default when I open it. That loaded properly and it works. Changed the race to Worgen (still male), that loads and then works fine. Then if I change it to female Worgen, completely blank, when it was working okay just a few hours ago.
Tried Draenei female, that works... Draenei male, that works... female Worgen are the only ones I really want to use and, ironically, they are also the only ones that don't work.
Hey Ammako,
I looked into it and the female Worgen loaded up just fine.
This could be a different issue altogether.
Our cdn hasn't been the best these past couple hours.
This could be due to missing thumbnails (that are on their way) for the new models.
When things are missing, it hits our servers repeatedly trying to find the images.
So *hopefully*, once I upload the thumbnails...things should be working much better.
I would try and keep refreshing until you get the female worgen.

Nothing I've tried to view so far works for me.
WebGL is enabled, and I have cleared my cache about 10 times (I'm on Chrome), but no models load. The loading bar shows for a few seconds, doesn't load at all however and completely disappears soon afterwards.
I'd really like to give specific items, but literally nothing I've tried works. Felsteel Longblade, Cursed Vision of Sargeras, Wrathful Gladiator sets, Uroe, Harbinger of Terror... these are but a few. I don't even load the character model. I have no idea what's wrong, or how to fix it.

After a few more clears and some toying with cookies, it appears to finally be fixed.

For those of you on Chrome, whenever something doesn't load, press Ctrl + Shift + i to open the Chrome Developer Tools.
In the bottom right corner is the Console. Either copy/paste the errors -or- take a screenshot and post them here.
This will be easier to debug your problems.
Thanks,
Mark

I was getting the WebGL error when visiting anything that had the 3D models. This only happened in Firefox. Chrome worked fine. I had tried everything suggested on these forums and several others -- including checking video drivers, Windows updates, turning accelerated graphics off, and changing several things in the browser's "about" section. Nothing worked. So I decided to try one last thing that did finally work for me.
1. I made sure my bookmarks and anything else important was backed up (addon settings).
2. Went to
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
3. Clicked on "Refresh Firefox" this will reset your browser to as if you just installed it (why the back up)
4. Let it do its thing.
5. Reboot the browser.
6. Checked
https://get.webgl.org/
and got the spinning box.
7. Reinstalled my addons and restored my settings, bookmarks, etc.
This seemed almost too simple that I was about not to give it any thought, but after trying everything else why not? So I figured I would post this in case anyone else ends up going through this same issue. It's something you can try.

Have you checked your Video Card drivers and Windows Updates? If no browser is getting the spinning box, that points to it not being browser specific issues (which mine was firefox didn't work, but chrome did), and would be something deeper on your computer such as drivers.
