What beats a dk?

since i have a holy pally i think we will be the anti-dk,for this reason.
every pally should have this macro (or something like it) and it will do the most damage as a holy pally
/cast
sanctity aura
/cast
hammer of justice
/cast
seal of the crusader
/cast
judgement
/cast
divine favor
/cast
holy shock
/cast
consercration
/cast
exorcism
/cast
hammer or wrath
/point
/laugh
amost all instant casts and geared as a holy pally that will be an insane amount of damage all before the stun wears off
there would be a way to counter this but it is all situational and most dk'd will be too new to understand there character fully
i think it is a fairly easy kill

You can only use holy wrath and exorcism on undead targets.
Death knights will only be considered undead while they're using the 11 point unholy talent Lichborne, which turns them undead for 20 seconds, and at the same time gives them 25% extra melee avoidance (all melee enemies suffer -25% chance to hit when lichborne is active).
Paladins might be a tough opponent but they arent going to be able to insta-kill them. Also, DK's are a tanking class... they arent going to be running around with 4000 health. All you really have in that 'combo' is a crit holy shock, consecration (weak dot), and hammer of wrath IF you get them below 20% health.

And wasn`t sanctity aura a retri pala talent spell?

It is for sure, but most holy palas going for spell damage take also the aura from the retribution tree.

Oh, i see.
And being on topic, you can`t know what will beat them, every class will have major changes, shadow priests for example will get pvp boost as well, like improved shadowform or the last talent in the shadow tree (sorry, can`t remember the exact name) and that 20s sleep spell was it? (not from talents...just took a small peak and i liked it hehe)
edit: it was dispersion

PALI ALL THE WAY, IF IM NOT mistaken, dks are undead, and pallies have so many holy moves that !@#$ on undead
You should read before posting.
Death knights are not undead, they're all considered humanoid just like every other class/race in the game. The -only- time a death knight is considered undead when he/she is under the effects of lichborne, the 11 point unholy talent, which turns the DK undead (providing fear immunity) for 20 seconds.

They said that they're gonna make the DK really OP for awhile so people could get some fun but after that they TRY to balance it. Got this from a gaming magazine interview.
So, first. No class will beat DK when equally geared and skilled.
After that I think mage and warrior will be able to kill them, 'cuz they have those summon undead spells so mage will just aoe through them and so will warrior with SS and whirlwind.

The authors of that magazine must be a bunch of retards if they can predict such nonsense as you did here.

So after taking all that in, and thinking "Holy crap, goodbye game balance," Chilton and Kaplan both assured us that Death Knights aren't the most-loved class of the expansion -- all classes are getting attention and the balance as we know it will change. The class is designed at the base level of the game to be a useful tank or dps class for instances, and at the endgame, to be the spellcaster tank for raids -- and of course offer dps when not tanking via their two-handed-only weapon gameplay.
The interview is rather old, talking about 2h combat only and stuff, but the assertion of Chilton and Kaplan stays: The DKs wont be favoured against other classes.

I made a typo, I meant to write 'interwiev', not rewiew. Sorry my bad. :)

And the DK has a taunt pulling everything towards him. If the hunter is in the melee range of the DK he will most likely be done.

DKs spell protection will have a cd, wont be spammable. Also last time a checked priests can dispell a pallys bubble which is supposed to make the pally immune to any spell or attack, so I dont think a dk antimagic shell will last long enough to protect the dk from the priests spells.
But still the priest will be no real opponent for a DK. The main advantage of DKs are their great anti caster abilities. Also the diseases have a skillable 30% dispell protection. Since Shakkle Undead is a casting ability and the DK has to interrupts I doubt a Lich Born DK will be shakkled. I wonder if pulling the caster with Death Grip will interrupt, too. Probably dual wielding will be again a good PvP option for better casting interruption. Then there is the corrupted Renew thanks to Degeneration -> less room for the priest to cast or heal.
Thats the theory. I think melees will be the harder opponents for a PvP DK. Its dependent how good the diseases will work. I think rogues will be especially hard since we have no real Evasion counter.

from what i see, is that paladins have a upper chance against a DK, removing diseases is a must if fighting on and anti-undead fear and range is a potent combo too, but then again the damage of a paladin might not be enough to do too much especialy since they have a spell that practicly leaches the damage away.
