The guild i am in atm is a workmate/friend's guild, he has 1 kid who plays WoW, and there is also 2 other kids too (that I can think of) all have their dads play the game. The kids are pretty good at the game ok to be around if there is no other kids in vent. Yet soon as there is more than 1 it really gets irritating to listen to, which results in me sitting in the afk lounge of vent while they are on until there is an adult on that I am able to talk to.
in the end, 1 kid = ok, 2+ = annoying.....my experience anyway =)

Sadly the immature players tend to fall in my age group (19-25), and those outside the bracket tend to be quite mature. It's quite a breath of fresh air to group with a teenager.

Age is a number. Immaturity is a character flaw.
That is 100% true. Maturity, is not age ranked
I'm only 9 and i'm way more mature then some other people on WoW.
a 9 year old who plays WoW can have as much Maturity as a lawyer or a Doctor.
i hate lawyers
.
(Although i got no idea what every person's family/home life is like.)

I'm 17, started playing when I was 16. (I don't consider 16 a kid, I'd go with 13 and under). I also only consider myself a "kid" because I still have school, and a schedule that can be changed at a moments notice by a parent. (not that this is a huge deal for me, happens rarely).
Honestly, it seems that I only ever have problems with the kids who let it be known they are kids. Not by saying how old they are, but by acting like a child. In my guild there are two people, a 14 year old and a 25 year old.
The 14 year old is possibly one of the most level headed and rational thinkers I know. He is a co-GM and knows how to run a guild.
The 25 year old acts like he is 6. He's also one of the people constantly trolling on trade.
And as far as skill goes, it has nothing to do with age. For example (I know it's not wow, but...) my family is friends with a family in the neighborhood, and they have a 7 year old. No matter what I do it seems I can't beat him at Super Smash Brothers on the Wii, and I play with the Game Cube controller that I am used to playing with. So age has nothing to do with skill.
TLDR version: Age has nothing to do with it.
