Artificial Intelligence
:
There are a variety of different kinds of AI's in Azeroth.
Dwarven Golem
s: Essentially constructs given directions by runes inscribed in the body by runemakers. They do not have intellect as it were, such as the ability to think or reason, and can do no more than the basic actions which have been programmed into them by the runes.
Titan Constructs
: A far more advanced system exists in the constructs of the Titans. Possessing true intelligence, they have been built with varying processing power corresponding to their functions, a seamless combination of machinery and magic far beyond the comparatively crude scope of nearly all Azerothian machinist's comprehension, and whose attempts at recreation fall humiliatingly short.
Arcane Golems
: Similar to the dwarven golems in many respects and vastly different in others. Arcane Golems are not programmed by runes. Mages have always known that arcane energy has a sort of crude life and intellect, manifesting itself in mana wyrms or the arcane construct. What a mage will attempt in the Arcane Golem is create a simple controllable consciousness and bind it into a gem or stone. Around this stone is then built a body, which the enchanted stone moves according to its instructions. Of course, should the stone be damaged or lose its arcane charge, the construct will begin acting erratically and at the same time become much weaker until its charge runs out and it shuts down.

I'd break it down as
Modern computers. They take a series of instructions and attempt to follow them as best as they can.
Droids from Star Wars
A possessed item. The item itself isn't intelligent, but the force driving it is.

Blades of Elune:
A Night Elven group comparable to the Paladins shared between other races. The Blades of Elune are a militarized offshoot of the Priesthood of Elune, but are clearly quite modern in their acceptance of either gender. They're presence has put them at odds with the much older and larger Night Elven Sentinels; forcing the young group to prove itself in the eyes of their fellow elves.
I practice, Blades tend to weird mail or plate armor, and either a warglaive and shield, or a double-bladed polearm. Their equipment is commonly decorated with Night Elven designs, and they are quite proficient at wielding the light of Elune.

Range of magic spells:
The art of hurling a bolt/arrow/bullet of magical flames is something common with most spellcasters, thought one might ask themself. "How fa can that molten lava go?" The anwser is simple. The mana needed to blast a boulder at one meters range is a relativley small one but doing it with the range of 10 meters will require more mana, and doing it on a 100 meters range may drain the spellcaster dry and kill him.
The consept of how far depends on the amount of mana added in the spell. And the closer the target it the more powerfull the spell may be. There is a mathematical formula that aprentice mages are learned so that they don't get supriced when they cast a fire spell that burns up prior to hiting it's intended target.
((Atik, Isn't the priestesses of elune learnt martial arts in the WoA triology? Some use blades some used bows. etc?))

The light is capable of being used by 'evil', 'good', 'ambiguous' and otherwise grey forces, even upon each other. Agreed; we see proof of that with the 'dark' factions who use the Light after all.
The ability to use the light can come and go seemingly at random. Disagree there; randomly no, but if the user is not feeling particularly faithful/focused/true to themselves, yes.
At this I come to my point, 'demon' is not a race, disease, or alignment. It is a state of mind. Filled with fel energy, which they believe gives them power, but also a weakness to the light. Likewise, wielder of the light think so as well. However, a truly willful wielder of the light, and demon capable of resisting the subconscious fear of the light, could in fact heal each other.
If it were true that being a demon was merely being in a state of mind, that state of mind could be broken. A demon could be redeemed, or at least neutralized if they could consciously choose to be.Disagree there; seems like most of the Demons are Man'ari(corrupted) after all, and the bodies change to match the corruption. After all, the infusion of Fel changes creatures far beyond what the state of mind would seem to allow: Fel Orcs and Felblood Elves, with the extra spikes and horns that appear.
We've seen one Satyr redeemed...and he died to pull that off so hard to tell, as it started off as a mortal race technically.

I disagree on the Fel part. I'd say Shadow, being the true opposite of Light, can possibly heal/create, etc. Fel, however, is purely demonic and corrupting (and generally more of the enemy of Nature than of the Light).

I never said they weren't corrupted, nor even mutated. In fact I'm claiming that the fel orcs were in fact demons. I believe that the mutations are purely caused by their subconscious forcing the fel to shape them as such.
Eh, disagree. The fel has changed the shape of many creatures who do not have a subconscious as we understand it, nor even an expectation to change, like the boars in Hellfire.

Or what the Fel Gas did to the Draenei; in addition to taking away their connection to the Light, I can't see any of their subconscious creating the form they were trapped in.
In fact I'm claiming that the fel orcs were in fact demons. Disagreeing there; minion race sure, but actual demonic entity? Not really.
And Dires are corrupted orcs, an attempted by the darker aspects of the Orc evil clans to copy the Dire Troll mutation.

What exactly are you saying here Light? That the fel can corrupt and warp things, but only when other people intentionally make it do so, or when they subconsciously force the changes in themselves? Doesn't it make more sense that the fel, like radiation, simply warps what it touches?

Fel corruption has always seemed like a random mutation that occurs. After all, look at the Man'ari races we have seen; Satyrs are giant goat men, Felbloods turn bright red with large horns and possibly wings, Fel Orcs go spikezilla. Even Illidan's fel corruption probably wasn't intentional....otherwise you know, he would have picked a form that could actually hold it's own =P.

Still going to disagree then Light; I don't think anyone has any word in how their body is shaped by Fel corruption/magic.
