I opened a petition and in about 10 minutes later I had a talk with this GM, he asked me if I really want to un-soulbind the item and after confirming I had a new bag (I had to delete the original one) awaiting in my mailbox. How about that? :)
Grats on that, most other GM's are assholes and wouldn't do it.
Wow, I have spoken to a decent 15 GMs so far and all were extremely nice and helpful towards me.
Altho, the GMs in the previous game I played were completely retarded, so it might be that.

I'd have to say... most likely not. I'm not accusing you of anything, but others could just use a BoE bag, then contact a GM to "unequip" it when they dont want it anymore, and sell it for a bunch of money, saying it was an accident when they equipped it.

They generally will refund things if you open a ticket as soon as you $%^&ed up. I deleted some gear by accident and had it replaced asap, but other times ive bought stuff and not realised it was wrong for a week or so, in those instances they wont help.
Most GMs are fairly pleasant as long as you dont *!@# them around.

Unless you only want the bag for a couple of hours, good luck fooling them

From the GM's eyes, he/she probably helped because this was done on a level 12 character, and really, who would mean to equip such a thing on a level 12?
However, on the same note, why was this bag ever even on a level 12 character? It's not possible for him to make it, so it seems as if it was done on purpose and then you changed your mind..
I'm not saying that you did, but from a GM point of view, I could see them taking it that way.
Anyway, congrats on getting them to do it, thought for sure when I read the first post they would never do it.

Actually, that is quite strange, I didn't click 'yes' or anything, it simply didn't ask me. Never happened to anyone before?
And since you asked it was
Ebon Shadowbag
. It says 300g but the mats on AH were just way too overpriced. I was going to equip it at about level 40 or 50 when I'll be 100% sure I'll stick with that char, my lock is level 12 atm.
I've heard of this before... I was running Kara and a hunter accidently hit greed on some bracers that he already had... He said that it didnt even ask him to say yes.
