"I know." Said the elf as her mount raced forwards to its goal.

Character:
Varyn Brighthammer, Mordecai
Location:
Barrens, Ratchet
Varyn's horse shrieked in terror at the impact, rearing back with crazed fearful eyes. The mage shouted, clinging to the reins, all that save him from an ignominious dismount off the back. The palomino danced left and right in confusion.
The Baron, by contrast, wheeled about at the sound, snorting in anger. Soundlessly, Mordecai unsheathed his tall ebon blade and held the reins tightly, his blue eyes examining the pit and waiting for a target.

Character:
Vrak, Bog
Location:
Crossroads
Weather the orc heard her or not didn't matter; Vrak leapt into the fray. His proto-drake latched onto the first demon that rose from its crater. Vrak jumped from his mount and on to a second infernal and he rammed his amber daggers into its stone-like skull.
With a look of grim determination determination on his face; Bog casually whipped out a long sword so fast it seemed to have just appeared in his hand...or perhaps it did. Smoothly, he rode forward and cut the leg out from under the third infernal.

The Barrens
"Heyheyhey!" Theresa called the moment Bog spurred his horse
towards
the enemy. That was against all her principles, and despite the enormous risk involved she threw herself out of the saddle and onto the ground. Scrambling to her feet, she fumbled with her rifle for a second before bringing it up to the shoulder - within the blink of an eye, a loud
crack
spat the bullet at great speed towards the kneecap-stone on the closest infernal.

Bog

The Barrens
The speeding projectile hit the fourth infernal square in its chest. The mighty demon stumbled and roared, but was not seriously wounded. It looked her in the eye and rushed straight for her.
The infernal that Bog had decapitated fell with a thud. Swiftly, Bog was atop it and thrust his sword down into its stone chest. The infernal gasped and its fel fires went out as it breathed its last.
The fifth infernal ignored the others and charged straight for Mordecai, deeming him to be the greatest threat.

Once in range Ilthadris pulled out her bow and slided down from her mount as the Hawkstrider was not fond of demons.
"Bash'a no falor talah!" She cried in Thalnassian. And then she placed a arrow into the string of her golden bow and aimed at the stony face of the fith infernal and fierd a arrow infused with the arcane.

The projectile struck the infernal Vrak was fighting in the neck; killing it instantly. Not missing a beat, Vrak jumped from the crumbling behemoth onto the other to aid his mount.

The Barrens
"
The *!@# happened to my aim?
" Theresa thought angrily, but her question was cut short by the seemingly enraged infernal approaching at a charge. She deemed there to be too little time to reload, and slung the rifle over her shoulder.
A blade wouldn't do her much good no matter the skill of the swordsman, or in this case, -woman, against the searing rock coming against her. Having no magic at her disposal, there was little she could do. The veteran turned on her heel and beat into a tactical retreat.

And Bog rode to her aid. Yelling a warcry, Bog intercepted the demon, drawing its attention away from the woman. "Now would be a great time to reload, Tess!" he yelled, letting his stead prance away from the enraged infernal.

The ranger fiered a trio of arcane infused arrows in the form of explosive flames at the Infernal that hunted the human gun-woman.

Two of the arrows missed, as Bog planned them too. Bog let the third one strike the infernal's shoulder, nearly blasting its arm off.

Character:
Varyn Brighthammer, Mordecai
Location:
Barrens, Ratchet
A blast of ill aimed arcane energy glanced off the side of the infernal pursuing Theresa's head. Varyn yanked on the rein, his horse still prancing nervously, even more so after his attack.
Mordecai stared at the charging infernal silently. The Baron didn't even need to feel the pull of the reins to know what to do. With a snort of contempt at the demon, he charged forward. The death knight raised a free hand and, with a snapping sound that reminded one of breaking bone, launched a deathcoil at the demon's chest.

The Barrens
"It would indeed," Theresa hissed to herself as she stopped, planting the butt of the gun firmly on the ground and beginning the procedure of recharging the firearm.
It took much longer than a more modern rifle would've, but she was still remarkably fast. Not many seconds of remote fighting passed before she was ready to fire, and this time she did it all by the book; she raised the gun, positioned it properly against her shoulder for maximum support, lined up the shot and exhaled slowly while squeezing the trigger with perfect timing, just as Varyn's attack connected with the demon.
Kneecap.

Ilthadris now pulled one arrow from her quiver and placed it into the string. She then pulled the arrow in the string backwards. The metal bow made it harder to pull the arrow back, but she pulled anyways and pulled firther than the previous four, to add more power into this arrow.
Then she released the arrow, no magic in this one, nor need. Aiming at the infernals eye.

Bog

Bog noted the arcane bolt that tore through the infernal's other shoulder and he cursed himself for a fool. The mage had probably noticed the minute magic spells he had weaved to redirect the projectiles launched by the archer and gun-woman.
The death coil made the fifth infernal stumble, but it did not slow its lumbering pace.

Varyn muttered beneath his breath, half a curse against the miss, half the beginning of the next spell.
If the lack of impact bothered Mordecai, he didn't show it in the least. Instead, the Baron flew past the piece of stone and fel flame and as it did so, his rider's blade aglow with antimagic flew in low to sever the infernal's leg.

Bog let this arrow strike home; it was time for this infernal to die. The demon stumbled backwards, groaning in pain as the arrow rammed through his eye. Bog wove a miniscule spell into the eye socket, causing the head to explode, killing the infernal.
The fifth infernal's leg fell away and winked out, leaving smoking stones in the sand. Surprisingly though, the gigantic demon did not fall, instead it balanced on one leg, wobbling slightly and trying to smite the Death Knight.
