Do you ever intentionally let people die?

This applies to healers or tanks, whichever role you want to discuss.
Tonight I did a random where not just one, but two people were constantly standing in junk. I warned them a couple times, but then after that I let them die. One of them ended up leaving after I didn't "battle rez" (I was a shaman), and the other was with us till the end of the dungeon, where he was healing himself while still standing in junk.
When I'm tanking, if someone is making the run difficult after being warned (taunting off me, pulling extra stuff, making the healer's job hard), I will stop taunting mobs away from them. Sometimes the healer keeps healing them, but when they don't the person dies.
I personally have no problem letting people die if they're ignoring all advice or warnings. If they're just mouthy but still follow mechanics, that doesn't really affect the run, but if they're mute and standing in junk after being told, they die. =)
How about you guys? Do you ever let people die?

Yup; if people want to pull, I let them tank..and laugh to myself as they die.

As a tank, I kill players all the time in Mogu Palace, the last boss. There is so much flying around it is easy to aim a slam at someone who annoyed you the entire run.
As a healer, I never really have the opportunity. someone has to be really really bad to die in heroics now.

All of the tanking that I do these days is as a Blood DK, so I can pretty much solo the entire dungeon myself. It's rare for anyone to die, even when they DO screw up and I DO want to let them learn the hard way.

Always. If im healing and someone stands in fire constantly, or if im tanking and someone keeps pulling mobs and using taunts they are blacklisted from my help so to speak. Keep in mind repeat offences are required and its rare I let the tank die no matter how silly they may be acting :S

Yes. If I'm healing and you don't want to listen to my advice of don't stand in the bad stuff, you will die, I won't heal you.

I tend to kill people both on my healers and on my tanks. I'm slightly nicer on my healers though, I warn them first. If they don't listen, not my fault -when- they die.
On my tank, I'm a %^&*!. Basically, I spam a macro as soon as I enter an instance and explain my markings and that I will not pull off anyone who pulls. If they still pull, I go into Unholy prescence and DPS until either they're dead or the pack is. Only time I taunt something off a ninjapuller is if it's beating on the healer, seeing as the ninjas rarely hold aggro on the group.
Sometimes on my tank I'm nice, I just stand back and watch them squirm as the healers mana goes lower and lower, then I jump in and take aggro from them right before they die, healing myself with Death Siphon and Death strike if the healer is OoM.

The only times I 'let' someone die as healer (I rarely tank), it's for triage reasons. I have to manage my time and resources. My job is to get the group through alive, and if I can't do that, I try to keep as many alive as possible, and that may well mean not healing a DPS who keeps taking avoidable damage.
I may dislike someone intensely, but if it bothers me as much as that, I'll either vote to kick or drop group myself. While I'm in the group, I do my job.

Why glyph death grip? I like the taunt when im dpsing and need to emergency tank, if tank is about to die and healer is crappy (then the tank can taunt back when he has regained health....better i die than him/her), if tank already has died and the mob is tearing the squishmage a new one etc etc.
Tranquil grip is bad :)

It's been a long time because i don't tank or heal anymore.
I had to do it one day because of the dps that was attacking the wrong target and pulling first, i warned him 3 times and he ignored it, he was moving like a robot and trying to pass through a wall everytime, i let him die when he pulled the boss, after he died he instantly respawned and came back to do the same thing, after all that we kicked him...
Those players that move like robots and try to go through a wall, i think they are bots.

Definitely.
As a Healer I usually stop healing the players who fail on the same thing over and over because they refuse to understand that it's bad to stand in fire even after you've tried explaining it to them. It sounds harsh, but I am quite polite and calm when doing this. :p
Not that this is related but I feel like sharing it; me and a guildie (another priest) usually have personal duels in dungeons/raids as well. The duel is about who manage to kill the other first with Leap of Faith. It's actually quite entertaining and it definitely makes raiding more fun. ^^
