With the smoothness which only comes from practice, the dwarf unslung his rifle and had it cocked against his shoulder at the exact moment that he had stepped forward and taken aim. James squinted down the barrel. "Smile ya blighter," he muttered and fired at the beast's head.

Character: Gurka, Dag'rema
Location: Darnassus
Gurka gave a short bow. "I am named Gurka, and in the Common I am called Witchkiller. How did you know my clan?" she asked, trying to maintain a respectful tone.
Character: Bizzix, Ivan, Arenei
Location: Un'goro Crater
The Devilsaur took a step back, shaking its head in pain, but while the dwarf's bullet had left a deep red gash, it didn't seem to have penetrated the skull.
"Ey, there's one!" Bizzix cried obliviously, raising his blunderbuss and peppering the beasts underbelly with shot. The weapon didn't seem to have much effect, however, as it simply continued charging towards the group, bringing its head down to chomp on their tiny bodies.
Ivan quickly unslung his own rifle and put a shot into the dinosaur's gullet, but his shot was equally ineffective in slowly down the huge reptile.

Gurka gave a tired smile. "Well that's one one us who feels confident about my role in things," she replied. "Things have been so hard lately, and I'm not even sure what exactly I'm meant to do. When I came back, I though I was meant to keep killing warlocks. Now with Nightbane back from the dead, prowling on the edge of my dreams when I sleep..." she trailed off, shaking her head. "I don't understand my role in any of this. Was it my fault that Nightbane turned into this, and can I help her?"
Dag'rema's eyes opened slightly, and her breathing turned stiff and restrained. "You pity me, don't you?" she asked the male Night Elf hoarsely. "Don't I look wretched? Dag'rema of the Burning Legion, finally bent by that shaman and her friends."

Vashadya Duskwind
Teldrassil, Darnassus
Vashadya reflected for a moment. “There is little substantial to tell,” the younger priestess confessed. “I encountered the group in the Barrens. They were interesting… yet I had thought – or wanted to think – myself incapable of forming anything other than friendship with anyone anymore,” she continued, wringing her hands, “Nightbane was not the only one, there was a blood elf too, however I was never… intimate with either of them. I believe I realized what was happening in Shatterspear, though I did not admit it to myself…” The night elf’s head turned away in shame, eyes brimming with tears, “I desperately wanted them to be happy… yet everything went wrong – the group splintered, Pyro died, and I was not there to save Nightbane... It was why I never wanted to love. I... could never...”

Gurka nodded. "As you say," she replied, taking a deep breath. "How long are we to stay here?"
Dag'rema simply looked into the elf's eyes. "I sincerely doubt that you can ease my pain. You don't know anything about me."

"Aw bollocks," James muttered. "How toughs yer shield lass?" he asked even as he reached behind him to something on his belt.

Teldrassil, Darnassus
Vashadya's head hung low, visage hidden behind strands of magenta hair, needing a moment to recover, though the priestess appeared to take comfort in the embrace.

The night elf did not yet turn in the ancient's direction. "Where are we needed?" she asked, in a soft tone.

Vashadya Duskwind
Teldrassil, Darnassus
Vashadya brought her blue-grey fingers up to her red-rimmed eyes, gently wiping the residual tears from them. The priestess took in a deep breath, looking to Adalis at the end of it. The sorrow remained, tugging at the edges of her features, however it was a mere second to the resolution that had returned to their centres. "Lead the way sister."
