((how would anyone get their packs back? If we were stripped of our gear and supplies they wouldn't have just piled them up somewhere, they would be distributed to other Twilights or destroyed))
Llynarai Runesong
Cell # 4
Llynarai stood back and nodded, her fists up in an offensive position as she prepared for the worst.

Sarrin Dawnlight
The Dungeon
From a very dim corner in the far end of the hallway Sarrin watched the insanity in progress. His blood elf eyes were not as good in the darkness as those of a kaldorei, but his sight was still much more keen than that of a human...and now the others' position was lit by the flames beginning to take hold of their surroundings.
He cursed silently when he saw the human female wreck the lock. They were getting on the move now, and she shouted something after them. She feared being left behind; smart of her.

"Traitor?" Llynarai screamed at the female. "#$%^ you, you don't even know what the !@#$ you're doing!" she yelled after her. "You're all going to die!"
Llynarai stuck her hands out between the bars, fiddling with the lock. Great, she was abandoned in here. If she had any hope at all it was that elf who was probably long gone. Llynarai roared in frustration and pounded the bars with her fists, ignoring the pain swelling up from her hands.

The Dungeon
"Chill out, Temper!" Sarrin yelled while he ran towards cell #4, grabbing a conveniently placed broom without slowing down.
"Sorry about the pun," he grinned and brushed away some straw that had caught fire just outside her cell door. The flames of course transferred to the broom, and they roared as he twirled it around, clearing a path. Sweat began to glisten on his lean body; the dungeon was soon going to turn into a veritable inferno. Luckily the area was mostly stone and packed dirt, and the only things able to catch on fire was the furniture and other loose items.

"What the *!@# are you doing?" Llynarai questioned, backing away from the cell door as he swung the broom around.

Sarrin stopped, leaning on the flaming broom. He looked quizzically at the girl. "Springing you out, of course!"
Another wide grin then took its place on his face and with one sweeping motion he removed the rest of the burning straw. He then faced the door again, peering at the lock with curious eyes and commenting happily:
"That human girl didn't know much about metallurgy, eh?"

Llynarai scowled at the man, standing back and watching him curiously. She had no idea what he was going to do, but she hoped he didn't waste much time. As much as the huntress hated to admit it, he was her only chance out of here.
"Just hurry up already," Llynarai snapped, a hint of desperation in her voice as she heard the voices of more guards.

"Crystallinity and all that," Sarrin said and grinned again, but this time it was more of a smile than before - less manical and more friendly. "Shock freeze metal and it'll embrittle," he informed, taking the broom and swirling it half a turn. With the crackling straws now facing upwards he positioned the sturdy shaft like a lever between the bars, and with one foot on the cell door for strength and the other one behind him for support he began pulling.
The lock didn't seem to respond to the treatment. "Come on," he begged of the metal construction, "show us you're the usual twilight crap!"

Llynarai watched, holding her breath as she heard more noise coming from above. "Come on already!" she said forcefully, more to the lock then to the other elf.

"Gah!" Sarrin shouted in vexation and slammed the broomstick forcefully to the lock. A slight clicking sound emanated from within the mechanism. He froze, staring surprisedly at it. Carefully, as if not to jinx himself, he touched the handle. The door quietly swung open, like a team of leper gnomes had oiled it meticulously just a minute earlier.
"Freedom is served, madam," he said pleasedly, taking a step back and gesturing to her that she was welcome to exit the cell.

"Thank you," Llynarai said hurriedly, walking out of the cell and looking around. It was chaos, everywhere. "#$%^..." she muttered, looking around for something to use as a weapon. A hanging torchlight was resting on the ground, made of metal and not used for some time judging by the appearance. She picked it up quickly and tore the candle stub out of it, slipping one of the curves over her knuckles as a makeshift fist weapon.
"Probably break my fingers if I hit anything with it..." Llynarai mumbled to herself, then she looked at the other elf. "You said you know where we are," she said simply. "So find the way out."

"Nah-ah," Sarrin shook his head. "Not without my effects, and what I came for. We need to find a hoard, or, or, an office where they keep
it
. This way!"
He started in the direction the others had went; the only visible way out of the dungeon.

They came to a turn - the one behind which the other group had disappeared. Passing it, an intersection led two ways. From straight ahead came the din of a fight, and to the right was a torch-lit staircase. "I'm guessing this way," Sarrin turned to Llynarai and grinned, before hurrying in the indicated way with the now charred broomstick held in a firm grip.

"Was thinking the same," Llynarai mumbled, the sounds of fighting quieting as they headed further into the tunnel. She was on her guard, having no idea what was going to happen.

The Guardroom
Sarrin took two steps at a time for the first half of the flight of stairs, then he suddenly slowed down to a creeping pace. Listening carefully for the steps of a guard on patrol or a sentry chatting, he continued climbing the stairs to the top.
Another T-shaped intersection was situated just a few steps ahead, and he crept up to it and peeked around the corner. To their left was a heavy wooden door; closed, barred and sealed with a heavy padlock. To their right was a short corridor which opened up into a much larger hall, from which came the sounds of lowered but mirthful voices.
"I'm guessing a guardroom," he murmured and jabbed his thumb repeatedly in the direction of the larger hall. "Which would make that the armory," he said and indicated the door on their left with his index finger.
He then turned a quarter turn, his back leaning against the moist stone wall. He pointed at the metal covering the other elf's hand without looking, his eyes vigilantly fixed on the guardroom.
"Care to switch that for something...purpose-made?"

The Guardroom
"Definitely," Llynarai said, nodding slightly. Her voice was straight and to the point, but a scowl was still worn on her face.
She paused, turning to look at the other elf. "Hang on. How are we going to do this if there's armed guards in there? I'm a hunter. I'm good at hand to hand, definitely good a it. But against an armoured and armed guard? I don't stand a #$%^ing chance," she muttered. "If I use magic, I'll be #$%^ed too. Win the battle but lose the war."
Llynarai pinched the bridge of her nose, thinking. "Let's just hope they're unarmed or magic users," she finally said, unable to think of some kind of elaborate plan.
