Peter sighed, dusting off his robes. But when his hand passed over his pocket, missing that familiar weight inside he froze. He dug a hand into his robes and spun about on the floor to see if it had merely fallen out. But that gave him no hint to the coin purse's location.

"Yes. It's called 'let the other guys take the beatings', starring an ensemble cast of convicts."

Being by a nature a suspicious person, Elsa twisted her body away from the dwarf as he collided with her - limiting his access to her tunic, which had altogether far more pockets than a tunic ought to have - and grabbing at his arms.

The human glared at Farson and deftly ran one hand along her tunic, checking for any
inconsistencies
the dwarf may have caused.

"I don't have time for this," Elsa growled quietly, so that only Farson could hear. Were it not for the fact they were in a busy inn, located in one of the more respectable parts of town, she would have knifed him then and there - or tried to, she wasn't entirely sure if she was capable of doing that.
"Thieves! Pickpockets! Give back my purse!" she shouted at the two dwarves, immediately causing a large number of the other people in the inn to begin searching their pockets only to find they were missing rather large amounts of gold and jewelery.

Peter whipped his head about at the comment. But...the dwarves hadn't been any...where...
"Hey...Hey!" The priest extended a hand to forestall the young woman. "You! Need to speak to you!"

Elsa had been planning on running away, now that the time was ripe, but at the sight of so many purses she remained rooted to the spot. She looked blankly between both Farson and Peter, hearing their words but not understanding them. With each moment they seem less and less like humanoids to her and more like beasts, beasts she would destroy if she had to.
The other patrons of the inn, meanwhile, closed in on the group, some of the wealthier merchants flanked by bodyguards. They seemed intent on recovering their possessions by one means or another.

"Hold on please!" Peter called, approaching the young woman. "Wish to speak to you! Most urgent! Very much so! About my coin purse!"

Elsa seemed to snap back into reality at this and turned to face Peter directly. Nothing in her movements seemed to suggest the clumsy, nervous girl that happened to bump into people unnaturally often.

"Yes, thnk you," Peter said, stopping before her. "Yes. You see, I lost it. My coin purse, that is. Thought, you bumped into me. Yes? So, though, wasn't on the floor. So, if I dropped it, not on ground. But! You did bump into me. So...maybe you...um..." Peter trailed off, gesticulating as though trying to convey something involving pockets, but afraid to actually voice an accusation.

"If you want your purse back, you'll have to talk to him," Elsa responded, gesturing towards Farson. She had already worked out which of the purses in his bag were hers - or rather, were stolen by her - one of the three being Peter's and the other two being considerably larger, belonging originally to wealthy merchants.
The pickpocket looked between the bag and the other occupants of the inn, not sure it was a wise idea to steal the purses back in front of their original owners - especially when she had multiple others hidden away in the various folds and pockets of her tunic. Then again, they were full of gold...

"But...he didn't bump into me. So, then...You...then he..." Peter said, slowly working out the process which had transpired. All the while the crowd of merchants were becoming more belligerent and angry by the second.

"And he bumped into me, thus making it his purse now," she concluded on Peter's behalf, growing impatient and doing her best to ignore Farson's cheesy grin. The other patrons of the inn had by now encircled the group and although angry, none of them wanted to be the one to make the first move.

"No. It's still my purse. Rather, yes. Actually. My purse," he informed Farson, pointing at the purse collection. "Might I have it back. If you please."

Peter caught the bag. "Thank you. But, still. Matter of how it came to your hands. Both of yours," he amended, looking back to the girl.
