"And why should I care if he kidnapped you?" the wizard asked. "You're still young. I would imagine it would be expected for kids to take naps frequently."

Elsa surprised herself by not hastily shoving Peter away, particularly as she felt the hug was a little too...
Intimate,
as much as she loathed even thinking of that word. The pickpocket remained oblivious to Tabula's arrival.

"No, no," the wizard said. "I suppose I could help you. Your sister is, after all, a dragon. It only makes sense." The wizard snapped his fingers, the four of them returning to the village of madness once more. Razz rose from his chair. "So, you want my help finding this book? Or simply conjuring it for you?" he asked idly, wandering near Joshua and invading his personal space quite quickly.

As if suddenly coming to himself, Peter released Elsa. He looked down somewhat abashedly. Now that he was more in control of himself, he had the sense to colour with embarrassment. "Um..Yes, ah...Sorry, about that..." he murmured.

"That's... uh... alright," Elsa said, the pickpocket's own embarrassment all the more obvious on her snow-white face, the fact she had actually quite enjoyed the hug only made matters worse.

"Right. So!" Peter clapped his hands, as if to dispel the embarrassment with a simple changing of the subject. "This Rat Person, any thoughts? Where they might be? Where someone who might know where they are would be?" he asked Elsa.

Elsa gave a faint squeak when she suddenly realized Tabula was standing there and likely had been for a long time, though she quickly managed to regain some semblance of composure. The pickpocket tried to think, as far as she knew the Rat Brother could be anywhere in the city - well, almost anywhere.
"Ever been near a sewer before?" she asked Peter, coming up with an idea.

"Perfect,"

With no small amount of reservations, the priest trailed after the pickpocket.

The elf wasn't even able to scream as she hit the stone wall as the began to cough out some of her purple elven blood. The elf fell down to her knees after hittting the wall and moved her hand to the mouth to damp the coughing.

Elsa led the two to the Old Town, ignoring all the sewer grates until she came across one that was out of sight of any guards. The pickpocket proceeded to lift the heavy object out of the way, it having been moved aside countless times in the past by various disreputable people, leaving what lay beneath exposed in all its raw splendour. Which was to say, they were greeted by the sight of fleeing rats and air that was certainly not fit for living in.
The pickpocket turned to the two, seemingly unaffected by the sight let alone the smell, "watch your step, it's slippery down there." With that said she gently lowered herself in, taking care not to fall into the sewage itself. She waited for the other two to follow suit.
Nimrod Lightforge, Gregg
Elwynn Forest
The arachnid advanced steadily, but cautiously, towards Lyshallis, bent on the night elf's destruction. Gregg's eyes frantically searched the ledges above for any sign of Nimrod, instead he was greeted by the sight of a large, indistinct, furry object falling towards him at high-speed.
The gnome muttered something about suffocating the dwarf in his sleep, before disappearing under the mass of panicked fur.

The stench of sewage struck Peter like a blow, leaving him staggered. He watched with unbridled awe at how Elsa could manage to stay unperturbed. Awe, tinged with disgust as she lowered herself into the sewers, knowing it was where he would shortly follow.
Peter shook as though ill as he tentatively approached the sewer grate. Holding a sleeve over his mouth and taking a deep breath, he descended the ladder behind the thief.

Kalina Brayton
Elwynn Forest
Kalina dashed (as much as one dashes with spider webs all over) to the torch and picked it up, throwing it forcefully at the spider with her free arm to distract it from Lyshalis.

Nimrod Lightforge, Gregg
Elwynn Forest
The arachnid advanced through the flames, blinded, but unrelenting. It remembered where Lyshallis was and that was all the vision it needed.
Gregg groaned from underneath the startled bear, attempting to crawl out from under it only for a second to land nearby... And a third... And a fourth. The gnome started to wonder if he was hallucinating, as the entire situation made absolutely zero logical sense, but the bears certainly seemed to be real... That left only the question of how on Azeroth they had gotten there.

With some exertion, Kalina managed to cause the torch to explode in a violent blast just as it bounced off. Burning splinters and shining embers sprayed around, and the cavern became bright with dancing light for a moment.

Elwynn Forest
The arachnid was severely singed by the blast, but still not defeated, the bears on the other hand seemed to jump into action and fling themselves at the creature, perceiving it to be the cause of the blast. Gregg dragged himself out from under his own bear, this one in particular was still too stunned to move.
"Hey Gregg, think you can give get that one to y'know... Attack? Nimrod called out from somewhere above. "Sometimes I wonder why your parents didn't drown you in your sleep Nimrod," muttered the gnome, loud enough for everyone to hear, "is this what you call a good idea? If the spider doesn't kill us the bears will."
"Well think about it Gregg, what eats bears?" the dwarf called back. "Giant, pissed off spiders?" the gnome responded.
There was silence for a few moments, before Nimrod spoke again, "no... you idiot... more bears. These bears will help distract the web bear while we come up with a plan."
The gnome made no response, intelligent enough to know arguing with an idiot was futile, instead he quickly made his way over to Lyshallis' side while the spider was distracted.
