"Thank-"
Turin groaned - partly in relief - when Illia hung up on him. He shoved the phone into his pocket and quickly climbed the ladder. He need not have walked, for Jaws had already directed the copter above the young knight whilst he had been speaking.
"Jaws, good to see you."

TAKE IT YOUNG MASTER IS NOT JOINING US?
"He has some other important business," Turin shrugged, plopping into a seat and strapping himself in. He also thought, but did not say it, that Kareithel had not summoned Marcin in the first place - probably because the two were spending decisively more time together than the Blood Lord did with his daughter.

They scarcely had the time to reply before Jaws sent the copter towards the tower that housed, among other things, Kareithel's office.

In contrast to Selin, Turin all but pressed himself against the window, looking down onto the city. He enjoyed flying, but sadly did not have the knack for operating machines, and did not consider himself ready for owning a dragonhawk just yet.
Before long they landed on the roof of a slim skyscraper, a marvelous construct of steel and glass and ferroconcrete. Turin unstrapped quickly and hopped out, then turned around, bowing with a smirk and offering his hand to Selin.
"You coming with us, Jaws?"
A
FRAID NOT.

Zach grabbed a notebook, another pad of some special paper, several pencils and what looked like charcoal and followed after her.

Watching the copter fly away, Turin - who had been expecting Selin to decline his offer, having played this game uncounted dozens of times before, and who would actually be more surprised if she indeed accepted his help - murmured, "One day, he'll retire, and earn millions playing cards with that face."

Loki, Karen
Thorium Point
"Here you go." Karen said walking to the edge of the town where a couple of there robots stood. "Think you can convince them to buy these?" Karen asked.
"If they have half a brain then yes." Loki said stepping to the first one shaped like a giant spider. "Think you can convince them it's a wise investment or whatever you call it?" He said.
"Of course. I'll be right back." She said turning and walking off.

"Hmm?" Zach asked absently. He had moved to one of the pillars and placed a pad of paper against it, then started to rub the charcoal over it to get an exact replica of the writing.

"Well, let's go, then," Turin said when the copter was out of said - which was pretty damn quickly - turning on his heels and heading inside.
The building was buzzing with activity, but no one even tried to slow the two down. When eventually Turin raised his hand to knock on the large double doors leading into Kareithel's office, they opened in front of them.
The Blood Lord rose from his seat, taking off his opaque shiny glasses, a warm smile on his face. Tall he was, and brawny - though not as muscular as Turin, he towered over his young protege, having over a head in height. He was wearing uniform similar to Turin's, albeit with no sign of headgear. A heavy crimson mantle was resting on his shoulders, fastened by an onyx fibula.
"Daughter. Apprentice. Glad to see you both."
Turin took a knee.

Contrary to what could have been expected, Kareithel did not immediately begin to dissuade the two from bowing - discipline was discipline, and not a single smart-mouth initiate could claim he was going easy on his daughter and his protege. He said simply, "Rise, and do come inside," turning away to take out two large chests and put them onto his desk.
"I probably should've prepared some words to go with these," he said almost apologetically, opening the first chest, "But I didn't, and I won't delay it any further. I've been meaning to give you these for some time now, and you are as ready as you'll ever be. First you, apprentice."
He produced a massive two-handed sword, charcoal black, covered in runes and of strange form.
"Broken in two, wrenched from the enemy to be reborn and serve our people," the Blood Lord declared, handing the sword to Turin. "It has wreaked much havoc once, its sight alone driving terror into hearts of its victims, and now it will lash through the enemies of sin'dorei, to protect our world. Call it, apprentice. Call it by the name!"
"Sul'Thraze," Turin spoke with a wide smile, looping his fingers around the hilt.
The runes glowed up with red light, and a crimson aura surrounded the ancient weapon. In its sinister light, Turin's smile turned into a wicked grin, his beard looked blood-stained and his shadow became longer and queer of form as the light washed over him. The young knight himself appeared higher and gaunt of the face for a brief couple of seconds.
He loosened his grip then and the glamor was gone, the blade dormant for now. Its hunger could be felt still, though, almost tangible.
"Thank you, Sir. You shall not find me unworthy of this weapon," Turin bowed his head respectfully, raising the sword and putting it against his back as if into a sheath - and indeed, when the enchanted metal touched the wool of his cloak, an elaborate scabbard complete with a wide harness to carry it appeared, encasing the weapon perfectly.
"I know I won't, Turin. I know it. As for you," Kareithel turned to Selin, a gargantuan two-handed battleaxe in his hands, "For you I have a gift even greater. A relic of the past, a piece of our legacy. A reminder in and of itself - but mostly a weapon of great power. You know as well as I do whom it belonged to once, One among the Seven. In the beginning, it was meant to champion our cause - and now finally, after long decades, it will fulfill its destiny. Wield it with pride, tempered by wisdom."
The Blood Lord himself bowed his head as he handed the battleaxe over.

Kiran Hartford, Koran Lighthammer
Silithus
The pair slowly flew over the ruins of Southwind Village, Kiran swearing quietly to himself at the sight of dozens of Silithids rummaging around. "So, now what?" He called over to Koran, the half-dwarf shrugging.
"We need to go down there." Koran replied, scratching at his chin. "I guess, someone may have to be bait."
"I wonder who that is gonna be." Kiran muttered darkly to himself.
Tae'sash Firebloom, Kalistra Sunstorm
Dustwallow Marsh
"Tea?" Kali asked pleasantly, pouring a cup for Tae who nodded, watching his master. "Are you hungry?" She asked.
"No. Why Mistress did you summon me here?" Tae said, as Aya slithered around his legs, one eye on the Blood Elf woman.
"Because I have a job for you of course." She answered with a grin. "I need somethings picked up, and well...I'm still not welcome in Gilneas, after that little faux pas a few years ago."
"Errand boy...oh joy." Tae'sash said with a deadpan expression. "What is it this time?" He asked her.
Midnight, Slayer, Destro
Open Sky
The three assassins were on board one of the airships that traveled from Kalimdor to the Eastern Kingdoms; Slayer as usual was wrapped up head to toe in cloth to keep his identity a secret, as Orcs on board an Alliance run air ship was usually a bad thing. Midnight was quiet as she considered the job they were about to pull, a slight grin on her face. Destro was excited about the idea of facing off against the Pack.
