As the last hatch clanged shut, the seven were left in an awkward silence. Leo shifted from one foot to the other. "So..."
"Silence!" Quasiglobal thundered. "We are so, grghh...Happy! to see you! We know why you have come!"
"You...do?" Leo asked, considerably taken aback not just by the constructs words, but also the way he said it. As if helpless to speak of joyful things, and furious at the inability not to. A trend which continued as the machine spoke again.
"You have come to stop the invasion of the settlement below. The! Mountaiiiins! We, graghhhh! Respectfully de-! cline! You cannot stop it! For not only have we the legions of the iron Vyrkul, but so too have we the Doom Construct, which shall sweep over the landscape like a tide of, grk, wonderful! Happy! Specialness! Arghhhh!" Quasiglobal bellowed, his face distorting in hideous rage as he widened his stance and screamed at them.

Lord Rivendare
Location: Overcity, Trisfal Glades
"My belongings are still secure?" Lord Rivendare said to a floating orb of purple magic he held above his hand. He stood alongside an empty building in a practically disterted part of the city. Well, ther were still people around, but this area was home to only the most rot-brained of the undead. The was no worry of talking aloud, but he still had a few spells up to avoid listening ears.
"Yes, sir," the feminine voice of Nina Luryheq replied from the orb. "We have also found what appears to be a decent spot to begin construction. It's in a clearing in the middle of the jungle, difficult to access in any way other than air."
"Our good Doctor should beable to assist us with that problem, well done. Once I've seen the Forsaken to war I will return to put a start on construction. Keep the area"
"Yes, sir." Lord Rivendare closed his palm and began to walk away. Prometheus shouldn't have any problem, he reasoned, with parting with a few bits of equipment, nor with any meat. Speaking of the Doctor...
He stopped and listened for the sound of an explosion...

Smiles, Pyre, Dr.Prometheus
Location:
Overcity, Undercity, Trisfal Glades
General Tyberus Lang, Commander of the eighth Forsaken infantry division, stared out of his window and onto the dismal city below. He preferred the Overcity, to be honest. The claustrophobic feel of the Undercity had always reminded him far too much of the grave. He banished such a thought from his mind. They were at peace now. The Forsaken machine had not rolled out for decades, enjoying the relative peace afforded to them by their conquests. Though they were hardly unprepared for a possible invasion, the Banshee Queen was far too paranoid for that.
Such thoughts had him grimace, and he turned away from the window, wandering towards his bedroom. His house was mercifully clear of the smog from the city. It was sealed quite thoroughly, and he took care not to allow the toxic chemicals free reign in his home.
Opening his bedroom door, he started in shock. The window was wide open, the thick miasma permeating his sumptuous living quarters thickly and coating the floor. "Accursed servants," the general spat, trudging inside. "By the time I'm done with them, they'll-." The general paused, nearly tripping over something. He slowly looked down to watch as the sickening fog drifted over the corpse of a servant, a dagger trusting up through the back of their skull and into the rotted brain.
Distorted laughter filled the room.
Pyre slipped into the military ward of the Undercity. Gas mask covering her face, she stalked down the cavernous halls of the city, the way it was specifically made to resemble a crypt so blatant she could nearly gag. The Undercity had been expanded since the war ended. The need for living space compelling the residents to tunnel further, deeper, giving the whole place a feel of an ant colony. But Pyre wasn't interested in the rest of the city. Only a specific area.
She slipped down a long corridor, past a sign marked 'Blight Catapult Depo' with several shadows following suite.

Characters:
Smiles, Pyre, Dr.Prometheus
Location:
Overcity, Undercity, Trisfal Glades
The depot for the Plague throwers within the undercity was a large cavern, cut off from the rest of the Undercity by a large wall. A single gate lead inside, a single guard standing at the switch gate. His name was Fredrick Nightstalker. A young (comparatively) Forsaken with rat's nest of black hair which he had only recently managed to rid of the pests thanks to some rat poison. Hidden behind the window of the guard box, his feet were propped up on the counter as he flipped through the same book he had been reading for the past three years.
He jumped at the tapping of his window. The Forsaken cursed as he glanced down at the book on the floor. Looking up, he scowled at the gas masked face on the other side.
"Yes?"
"Surprise inspection," the woman(?) on the other side of the glass informed him.
"Wha? Uh, we don't...do...that. Who are they?" he asked, pointing at four Forsaken behind the woman.
"*!@#'s sake! They're no one! Let us in Dammit."
"Listen...lady? We can't just let anyone in without proper clearance first."
"Oh for...Here!" Pyre held out a wallet, flipping it open to reveal a card. Fredrick leaned forward instinctively to make out the blurry writing. His mistake was instantly recognized when the woman grabbed the window pane over his head and brought it down hard! Pyre slammed the glass window down three times in rapid succession, Fredrick's neck finally breaking off with a snap.
"Hmph. that was easy," Pyre noted, kicking the severed head away. She waved her companions into the depot, following after a moment to ensure she wasn't observed.
Fifteen minutes later had all five running down the halls of the Undercity, the distant whump of explosions echoing through the earthen walls as the vehicles in the depot exploded into flames.
The general took a step back and swept his gaze about the room, fire poker at the ready. it was only after the low thud from behind him that he realized what eh should have done, was look up.
"Hey, gotch'er arm!" his assassin laughed manically, grabbing the arm with the fire poker and twisting it behind his back. The general clenched his teeth against the pain as the dull clang of the weapon hitting the floor reached his rotting ear. the last thing he saw before the knife entered his brain was the words 'Freedom for the Forsaken' written in white paint on the wall.
Smiles dropped the general. The assassin slipped towards the window, pausing only long enough to grab a mirror on the way out. "I'm takin' this!" the assassin tittered before bounding to the open window, and shimmying down the manor like a monkey.

"Incoming!" the lookout called over his shoulder. "500 meters and closing!"
"Swing hard to port," September replied, striding along the deck agitatedly. "All cannon to fire on my mark." Ahead of them, just barely visible through the mist, was a large, two masted air frigate. As the
Overcast
tilted away from the other ship, September raised his hand and shouted, "Fire!"
The cannons roared in a flash of light, striking the frigate, which had just emerged from the cloud cover. It shuddered and began to sink. As the
Overcast
passed it, September noted with pride that several shots had struck the propellers of the other ship. That was the downside to hiding in clouds. They can't see you, but you can't see them.
"More behind us!" the lookout called. "At least four, possibly six."
"Bring us about!" September roared. "Engage!"

The damage was significant, a massive number of war machines destroyed, as well as some bad damage to the walls of the city itself. Some caverns had collapsed entirely while others were barely standing, even with assistance from Forsaken architects and construction workers.
Vrem and Morec had already met and parted ways, each here for a much different reason. Lord Rivendare surveyed the damage to the Undercity itself, noting it and silently, expresionlessly applauding Prometheus on his efforts. The work the good Doctor had done here would be a good start for getting the Forsaken riled up, all he had to do now was...
As Morec plotted, Vrem inspected. With his military clearence he managed to make his way into the resident quarters of the General in charge of this base. He was allowed in, and found himself amongst trained inspectors looking over the scene. But what he was the most was written on the wall in white:
Freedom for the Forsaken
. He mouthed the words, taking them in, and glaring at them. He turned and stormed out.
The Loyalless - his personal name for the undead led by Darkbreeze - and their human allies in the Forsaken. It was clear to him, they were the cause.
He whistled for Rottalon... But there was no answer... Where was his pet? The hunter scowled again and stormed off in search of his absent bird.
... Yes, the perfect plan. Lord Rivendare smiled beneath his helm as he concluded his thoughts and turned to walk away. The Banshee Queen would be holding an emergency meeting at hour now, and he would be there; and he would see to it that the war he needed would be held. So many monsters to create... so little time...

Sashastrasza, Alana
Gilneas City
Sasha breathed heavily, straining her eyes to see through the flashes as she dragged her gun back to her. Sitting up, she placed herself against her formed cover and raised the weapon.
The light, suprisingly, actually helped her focus on the man. Her aim would slip from him, then back from around him due to the bright light; effectively locking onto the stranger. "Say cheese, son of a-" She exhaled; pulling the trigger several times in rapid succession.
Alana rushed forward; wings scrapping along the ceiling as she swipped at Howlfang. Her claws glistened, even though her swing was rather sluggish with the lack of room provided for it.

He said pulling out the key and opened the door revealing a massive living room with a fireplace in the far corner with a couch and chair with a television. Grand Executor Vrem Dartskul
,
Lord Rivendare
Location: Undercity, Tirisfal Glades
Lord Rivendare, Vrem, and Amanda, along with most all of the other Generals, Bishops, and Nobles of Forsaken society entered the Royal Quarter.
Lord Rivendare was extremely pleased to see his plan unfolding so well, but he managed to mask his joy beneath extreme self-control and the massive number of protective spells the lined his armor, enruned on the inside to ensure he had the upper hand. The val'kyr were Sylvanas' eyes on ears and were powerful spellcasters of all kinds, but not even they were able to break through his protections. Did such make him a target of suspicion? No, he had cultivated a reputation of preparedness, his armor was just incase of assassination attempt or spying enemy magic users.
Although he did not display it, Vrem was both furious and dismayed. Ten minutes ago he had found Rottalon's corpse in the Overcity, and it had just the reaction Lord Rivendare had intended it to have. Coupled with the recent assassination and terrorist attack, he blamed the death of his first pet upon the Loyalless and the Crusade. His vote was for that of war, that much was assured now - as if it hadn't been before.
Amanda was eyeing each and every one of the other Bishops of the Forgotten Shadow warily. She did not like any of them, fel; she
dispised
them. Each was a threat to her gaining the authority she carved; the position of Archbishop of the Church of Forgotten Shadow. She was pleased, however, to see that Skreel Shadowbender was not present. She had not seen him personally in some time, and had even begin to think that he had left with Darkbreeze's undead. It would not surpise her; he was sympathizer and a coward. And if he had left it would be for the best.
The group of nobles, generals, and priests entered the Royal Quarter and gathered to kneel before their queen. "Praise Sylvanas, Praise the Dark Lady, Praise the Banshee Queen," they all said in unison. "Glory be to the Forsaken."
Lord Rivendare smiled within his mind. Let it begin.
