As someone who has Enchanting on 4 different characters - I would say Disenchant cast time halved to 1.5s was a pleasant surprise. It felt faster, but I forgot it was a 3s cast time before I checked Wowhead.
The way the Scarlet Treasurers die in the Scarlet Halls also gave me a chuckle - sounded satisfying! :D
Edit: Was running through the new dungies, and I was taken aback by how beautiful the music is. Especially the piano segment during Scholomance. I even stopped my music to listen!)

I hesitate stating this categorically, as I've yet to experiment with it. But it does seem likely from comparisons:
Feline Swiftness
makes flight form faster.

My biggest surprise was finding out not that guild reputations gains no longer had a weekly cap, but that the amount received was 10 times the rep pre-patch. Not only that, but some low level quests (as low as lvl 10) give the same amount, which makes getting to exalted a breeze.

All level appropriate quests (ie green quests) grant 167 guild rep and 60,000 guild xp. Good times, good times.

And that goes for turn-ins like
More Marks of Kil'jaeden
. That was satisfying.

I didn't read too much about the beta or upcoming changes, other than pets and mounts, so mine was that I now had a talent that webbed everyone around me when I disengaged.

Guild did all the DS achievements but couldn't get H Spine defeated in time for patch.
So when I logged on, saw they removed H Spine and H Madness achievements for
Glory of the Dragon Soul Raider
And now have my Twilight Harbringer.
But I do ride around on my new
Reins of the Bloodbathed Frostbrood Vanquisher
from
Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10 player)

The map to caverns of time was really nice.. especially considering how often people were messing up with their new specs.
The rogue glyph that turns you into whoever you pickpocket is awesome. I was Gamon!
The soulswap glyph for affliction is amazing for grinding/farming.
I also really like the loot changes for LFR. It just felt cleaner not having to look at any rolls or figure out who the jerks are etc.

being able to run around on my lowbies with otherwise unobtainable titles and mounts for their level is pretty sweet. Really like that the guild rep gained for quest turn ins went from 84 (w/epic tabard) to 377. Alot of the minor glyphs are great and bring a tad bit of new life to old concepts. the Updated dungeon journal to include All of the dungeons for every expansion is great too.

Now we just need the dungeon journal updated for the old raids too, classic, bc, wrath. ..

haha, they will need to add a new icon for ´ignore this at lvl 85´ for certain abilities.. One of the hardest parts of pugging old content now is trying to remember which mechanisms will impact the fight and which can be ignored. A few weeks ago I was in a group doing AQ and we did the optional boss with 6 people.. after we started the fight, we were all going through out spellbooks trying to think of ways to finish it.

I like the return of Lock Tanking with demonology's Demon Hunting glyph. That and all the new glyphs are fun, like Glyph of disguise and decoy on rogues.

This was a small surprise and most people will probably think I'm extremely weird for even mentioning this but as someone who enjoys fishing in WoW, I am glad they made it so that you can only hear the sound of your own bobber. I discovered it by accident while doing a daily fishing quest in Dalaran, standing next to several people I could only hear the sound of my bobber. No more false alarms when fishing in a populated area, I can safely window out while fishing now.:)

The ability to cut out 2 BGs from a random BG search (albeit a buggy feature atm). Bye bye Isle of Failquest and Alterac Valley >.<

Anyone notice the new Agility heirloom staff that you can buy with JPs or from the DMF?
