well as of right now being pre WotLK, you can have 10 characters on any realm and there's only 9 classes... i say the only class worth having two of is a druid :)

I've thought of leveling up another druid, but I'm fine with just paying the respec and then doing dailies once in a while to get the gold back. I usually get feral and resto gear (and moonkin if no one wants it) and would hate if I had 2 druids and something drops in the raid for my
other
druid so I don't roll on it. I don't mind buying the bank slots to save up all that gear (though I am running out of bank space). Also, leveling professions like enchanting and jewel crafting is really annoying.

Saying rougue's pwn ferals because of dps output in raids is almost like saying holy priests pwn prot warriors because of their heals.
You'd rather have a rogue than a feral? Sure, as long as you're not looking for a tank, or an off tank, or group buffs, or combat rezzes... Actually, it's more like saying pallies pwn priests in raids because of their heals so pallies are better in pvp. What you're comparing is like apples to oranges. Not fair at all.
I've played both and sometimes I just don't want to tank. If I just want to DPS I love to play my rogue. Also, not having to buff the whole raid after a wipe? Not really a bad thing.

Seems simpler to me to gather several sets of gear on one druid. At the moment i've got T6-ish balance and healing gear, the feral ones are quite a patchwork of things nobody wanted (but gemmed and enchanted) with only one or two serious pieces missing to do well in T5 content.

but I made the personal choice that in the long run it would be less frustrating for me to just have a second one.I understand how it's easier, but farming stuff for both druids seems more "costly" to me than just raiding with the same toon and getting offspec loot when nobody else wants it. ie you risk seeing caster loot drop with your feral druid and feral stuff drop with you caster druid.

I have a Nelf main(almost 70) and a tauren alt(14...). IDK, everyone bugs me to go play on a different realm. I find leveling to be satisfying, but not as enjoyable as arena. On top of that, in order to gear to be competitive in arena takes 2 months of grinding BG's for me. It's not worth it IMO to grind 3 different toons for that. I just finished(well, almost finished) grinding my priest. Everything but the neck. I'll be rolling my druid pretty quick here. I leveled him yesterday. I want to get him up to speed so I can enjoy the arena resto before it's obsolete in WotLK. BG grinding one toon at a time is enough for me. As long as I have one dps and one healer, since you gotta mix it up once in a while. =)
