I admit I loved the Fanservice, but over all, I found X-2 to be the better game. And yeah, any more discussion can happen in the FF Poll/Discussion thread.

Would love to see an updated version of Streets of Rage.

I'd rather FFX out of the 2, X-2 didnt feel like a proper sequel to me, there was too much different about it.
I honestly liked X-2 a lot more; the Garment Spheres were fun, and while the story wasn't as deep as X, it didn't drag along like X did constantly....and again: No Tidus.
You're just saying that for the fanservice :P
Tidus wasn't the greatest protagonist, but then again, I didn't really like Zidane, so horses for courses. A lot of people didn't like Squall, but I think he was probably the most balanced.
Back on topic, I'm really looking forward to the new SimCity remake.
You don't like tidus but you adore Cloud? where's the logic in that?
True enough Tidus starts as a really whiny guy but at the very least he shows some impressive character development AND DOESN'T REVERTS BACK. Cloud? starts as an emo whiner jerkass, starts to change, then reverses back. And that's not even going into how ridiculus his weapon is
To quote Statler and Waldorf on their comment in absurdly big swords:
Waldorf: Why do you think those HUGE swords show up in so many video games?
Statler: I think the developers must be Compensating for Something.
Waldorf: A low budget?
Statler: No, a lousy game!
Both: Do-ho-ho-ho-hoh!
Squall is also a very nice character because he starts just like cloud, an anti-social jerkass, that *GASP* actually matures into a responsible leader, and a good friend O_o
I also liked the superb job done by Tidus's actor, because at the start of the game, (AKA when tidus is an insufferable whiner) his voice is really annoying (I'll give you that, during 2/3rds of the game it really was getting on my nerves) but as his character develops, so does his voice.
Hell, the segments that are narrated by Tidus, sound a lot more mature than the segments voiced by tidus. At the end of the game, he is quite a nice character. Though IMO my 2 favorite FF characters have to be Squall and Celes of course.

Alright I have a couple more games:
Super Mario World - with all the good rom hacks, including Kaizo levels and so on (yes I do consider them well designed to a point).
Punch-Out with Mike Tyson (not the current Wii one)
Pokemon Yellow (Electric Yellow? ;3)
Pokemon Crystal
(*!@# it seems you can catch Suicune as a static Pokemon in HGSS.)
Age of Empires I and II (II would be amazing with new voiceovers and graphics imo)
Zelda CDI

I wouldn't mind one like that, where you get just the one and you have to use it. Or change it so the starters aren't the same trio as always. Someone mentioned doing Dark/Psychic/Fighting starters, or something like that. Or just give us a Dragon starter and say screw it.

I agree. I am kinda getting tired of the generic typing of the starters now.

I've always wanted the starters to be water/dragon,fire/dragon, and grass/dragon respectively.
The game I want to get remade? Super Mario the RPG.

#106- What products do you remember from when you were a kid, that they don't make any more? Or maybe they make them, but you never see them in most stores and so rarely or ever get the opportunity to buy them. Which ones do you wish you could get? Which ones are you glad died?
In terms of food, I remember liking Nestle White Chocolate (not that pastel crap- real white chocolate), Welch's Strawberry Soda, Frankenberry Cereal, Just Crunchberries Cereal, and these toaster pizza pocket things that I have no idea what they were bu my dad bought them by the caseload- lol. I would like to see those in the store again. My brothers used to ear Gushers (I don't know if they still exist- I don't look for them) and I thought they were the grossest things ever.
In terms of non- food, I remember snap-bracelets, pogs, shirt buckles, jellies (the shoes), and these shirts with am empire waiste that were slit up the front, which you wore a tank top with. I could do without all of these- lol. I do miss the She-Ra dolls, though- I liked those a lot as a kid :(

Welch's Strawberry Soda
I've got a case of that in my fridge right now o_O
Frankenberry Cereal
Frankenberry generally only comes out around Halloween. But Count Chocula is on the shelves year round here.
Just Crunchberries Cereal
Oops, All Berries! Captain Crunch? It's still out. I finished off a box about 2 months ago.
toaster pizza pocket
Hot Pocket? Hot Pockets are the downfall of society because they're so good and bad for you!

I miss Surge. It was all my Grandma had in her fridge growing up. It was soo good! Vault just doesn't cut it... there's not enough surgary goodness in it!
Pogs are another thing I miss. I still have my pog collection at my dad's house. I had SO many, lol
I miss real cartoons on Saturday morning, none of this computer generated stuff.
Saddle pants? I had a pink pair. I wore holes in them... I'm glad they died off.
Also, Scrunchies. Saddle pants and scrunchies are so 1992.
**Edit: I miss banana flavored milk most of all!

@Rystrave- not a Hot Pocket. These were similar in shape, and a bit larger, than an English muffin and could go into a traditional toaster.
And the local stores don't seem to carry those cereals. I figured some of the things on the list will still be around, just not anywhere near as popular.

105. Pink panther.
106. I miss the cartoons. I can't think of anything food related though. (
90s food run down
). I used to hate the honey monster, even though Sugar Puffs were made in my old town.
I kind of miss Lunchables, but I don't eat meat now anyway. I also miss the tandoori chicken we used to get from a restaurant at the end of our road. We moved out and the place blew up. I loved Sunny D despite having it all of twice and it's still being made.
Oooh and blue pepsi or coke or whatever it was. I made a non-alcoholic cocktail with it in the US. My dad's work friend he brought along with him loved it.

I didn't realise how much I missed them, until you mentioned it. Too right.
I also miss the old Sesame Street and old
Play School
(as opposed to the crappy current versions of said shows).

Food-related the one I miss the most is "Galletas Independencia" They're a particular brand of cookie over here, very cheap, very tasty, and HUGE. I remember that for breakfast I'd often grab just 4 of those cookies, put them on a bowl, smash them, pour milk on it, and eat them as if it was Corn Flakes or something like that.
I even achieved the dream job of every child who grew up here in the 80's: Working at the factory of Galletas Independencia, until the PCV decided to expropriate the factory, shut it down, fire everyone, demolish it, and build a socialist college on it.

Non-food related, SNES.
I also miss the old Sesame Street
/high-five.

The old lego Star Wars sets. Now that was the *!@# back then. Now they're just remaking it into crap..
Not that I play with legos anymore, but still. I used to do that sooooo much.

The old Lego fantasy stuff is good too. I dislike the new Kingdoms range, compared to the older generation Lego.

Once or twice a year, tops. When I was a teenager, it was like once every 3 years but I put a lot of things into my body that hurt my immune system.
