#78- What is the next game coming out that you're excited about?
I'm pretty hopeful for Secret World, even though not much has been released about it yet. The concept seems to have a lot of potential.

Assass Creed 3. Gonna be so epic.
I'm really looking forward to Dishonored too, but I don't know how good they'll make it.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Seriously. I don't really play games much any more, so I don't even know what's being released. I would say KE3 or FF XIII-3 or versus but they're probably either a million years away or not coming out on PS3.

Even though it has yet to be announced or confirmed, I think it's safe to say there will be a sequel to Golden Sun: Dark Dawn that I can be excited about.

Elder Scrolls VI

Dishonored, AC3, Dragon Age 3, and Mists of Pandaria.
Also eager for the next expansion of Starcraft, Heart of the Swarm, and last but not least, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
Hopefully the PC version of that last one wasn't scrapped. (I've heard conflicting reports about it)
I'd include Elder Scrolls VI but realistically? we're looking at no less than 6 years of waiting at least.

I can think of no other game that I feel anticipation for.

ya but I'm not feeling any anticipation because I know its too far away. As the day draws closer, the anticipation kicks in. Right now? not really. Oblivion was released on 2006, and skyrim was out pretty much 6 years later. So, the next elder scrolls is gonna take aproximately the same time.
Hell, it may even take longer given that now they gotta split resources to the Elder Scrolls MMO.

what's DSL?
And I wouldn't get too excited about an elder scrolls MMO.
some game franchises just don't work in an open multiplayer environment. Final Fantasy is a living proof of that, after 2 failed attempts to making a FF MMO both bombed spectacularly.
Just about everything that makes the elder scrolls fantastic, just CANT BE DONE in a multiplayer scenario, since you need to preserve status quo, and balance. So what I'm already guessing we'll get is a bastard product with the Elder Scrolls name attached to it, but otherwise no relation whatsoever to what makes this franchise awesome.

Wow, I don't even know where to start

Torchlight 2, Dragon Age 3, Guild Wars 2, TES VI (though very far away) along with possibly their upcoming MMO, Metal Gear: Revengeance, SCII: Heart of the Swarm, Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite and Assassin's Creed III, among others...

Assassin's Creed III
I've never seen any game whos content from sequel to sequel was more similar.
I shouldn't probably post this, because someone is going to tell me off about how very different they are. The player in creed 1 and creed 3 have completely different colored hoods, and the dude in creed 2 jumps slightly higher. I'll then point to the irony of that defense, and then someone will tell me that if I don't like it I don't have to play it, and I should feel blessed that the game designer took time out of his day from rolling in money to crap out a rehash for me. It's like... it's like I can't talk negatively about games with the gaming community. The backlash is standard.

Guild wars 2 and Assassin's Creed 3 are my big ones. I'll probably get Dark Souls again. Civ 5 xpac might be cool.

Assassin's Creed 1
Takes place during the crusades, in the holy land. You play as Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad.
Assassin's Creed 2 - Brotherhood and Revelations
Take place during the renascence in Italy (Revelations takes place in Constantinople. In all 3 you play as Ezio Auditore da Firenze
Assassin's Creed 3
Takes place during the revolutionary war in America you play Conner Kenway
So yes, in as far as each game involves running around stabbing people with daggers, they are very similar, but they all take place in different locations, at different times.
I you could take something like Halo, and see that each game is much more similar then the Assassin's Creed Series. Welcome to video game squeals. And I won't even get into annualized sport games where all they change is the roster.
