I think this question is repeated but ohh well.
Actors: Mostly voice-actors. They are just as talented (if not more so) as regular actors, and yet they don't get anywhere near mainstream credit as regular actors. People like Jennifer Hale, Cam Clark, Simon Templeton, Grey Delisle, Laura Bailey, Claudia Black, and David Hayter deserve FAR MORE CREDIT and recognition than what they're actually getting.
As for musicians, James Labrie is one of the most underrated groups I've ever seen if you like industrial metal.

I <3 Malukah. There's a mod that lets you replace the female bard songs in Skyrim with her rendition.

I think being underrated is a good thing for the most part. Once something becomes known, they're bound to change their sound (the Black Keys) and their roles (Gerard Butler).
I'd have to agree with Rank, and say voice actors are incredibly underrated. I wanted to do voices growing up (used to record ourselves via cassette tape making radio shows xD).

You don't know much about voice acting, huh. You know what do people who have devoted themselves to voice acting like the most? Media attention?
No.
Getting jobs, so they can earn a living. A voice actor knows that he is recognised when production companies give him job opportunities. The people you named are
swimming
in various jobs. They actually are big celebrities, but in a sort of an "underground" way.
Jennifer Hale
Cam Clarke
Simon Templeman
Grey DeLisle
Laura Bailey
Claudia Black
David Hayter
Out of those, only Hayter doesn't have a crapload of voice acting jobs, but he is mostly a movie director. Not that there wouldn't be underrated voice actors, but an underrated voice actor is someone who is great at voice acting and
isn't bloody everywhere
.
I can think of two painters who would deserve more opportunities to show their works. In general, good painters have it pretty hard in this world, because people do not buy paintings as much as they used to in the past. You practically can not devote your life to painting if you do not do some side-jobs to feed yourself, and it is one of the hardest art fields to get fame (and earn a living) in. I also know a guy who is a great sculptor, but he has such a hard time getting enough money for a high quality sculpting material and then beating the "generally known" sculptors, that he practically can not live from just that.
Hm, there is also the guy who made the opening song of the english Pokemon, who is a terrific singer, but he doesn't get any real opportunities to sing, which is a bummer. But I suspect that is his fault as well, he probably could try to scramble some opportunities up if he tried. It could also help him become more approachable if he laid off his addictions to various stuff.

Honestly, nothing.

When I started dating my boyfriend, I didn't tell him I played WoW. I told him Tuesdays and Thursdays were days I went and visited my dad (actually raid days). He came over unexpectedly on Thursday to see me glued to my monitor.
I hid it for 6 months. I didn't want him to think less of me.
But instead, it added to our relationship. He played D2 and Starcraft a lot, so it was
something we had in common but were afraid would ruin our relationship. Kinda funny.
In my past, I wouldn't tell my boyfriends I had a mentally disabled sister because I already knew what it was like to gwt dumped for it. I grew up, and learned not to hide it. She's my family and if they're willing to be with me they better be willing to accept my family for who they are!

I haven't been on a first date in years. I suppose the most embarrassing thing about me is... well... I'm not really sure. I don't get embarrassed easy, so nothing really comes to mind. My dad is in federal prison, again, but that isn't really MY embarrassment. I have no physical defect that I know of, but even if I did, I don't think that would embarrass me. I just can't imagine there is anything about me a stranger could know that would cause me an adverse emotional response, because I simply don't care what people think about me.

Don't have experience to say but I mean I'd definitely play cards close to my chest on a first date, unless something ~special~ happens or something. I don't like making all of my issues known to
anyone,
let alone someone I've just met.

They actually are big celebrities, but in a sort of an "
underground
" way.
And this is why I consider them to be underrated.
They get a lot of jobs sure, they're not gonna starve to death any time soon, but their names are not known unless you're a particular fan of their work. Ask a common person who's Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Arnold Schwarzenegger, or Tom Cruise is, and they'll all tell you. But most folks wouldn't know who's Laura Bailey unless they specifically looked it up on IMDB.
They are unsung artists who's names are only on the lips of few, and while they get SOME recognition, it pales in comparison to what regular mainstream actors and actresses get. Not to mention that people like, say, Tom Cruise make more per movie than most voice-actors get paid on 4 videogames put together.
If you actually need to look it up to know who's voicing who, that's when you know an artist isn't getting the recognition they deserve.
I will admit that there are OTHER talented artists out there that have it way worse, since they, despite being talented, get neither jobs, nor recognition, but alas, I don't know many of them.
#295- What about you is too embarrassing to admit on a first date?
Hmm, a few stuff. Mostly the several scars I got on my back and chest, they're the reason I am almost never without a shirt, contrary to what movies would tell you, most people find disfiguring scars to be disturbing to see.
However scars wouldn't really be something to come up on a first date, so lemme think harder.............
Ok here's another thing that would be too embarrassing for me to admit on a first date: "I DON'T KNOW JACK SQUAT WHAT I'M DOING CUZ I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO TALK TO WOMEN, I'M SCARED CRAPLESS RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW CUZ I JUST KNOW I'LL SAY SOMETHING STUPID AND PROBABLY SCARE YOU AWAY, but I'm here regardless cuz I'm even more afraid that if I don't take you out on a date, someone else will, and then I'll lose you forever" Needless to say I was too embarrassed to actually tell her that bit :P
That was more or less what was going on in my head on my first date ever. Thank god she actually started talking about Anime, a topic I love, and my fears and inhibitions faded away after the first 90 minutes and 2 heated arguments over which samurai is cooler, Kenshin or Jin.

lol, I guess so, but I'm too shy to actually go to third or fourth base on a first date.

There's nothing I wouldn't admit if asked, I think, but there are certain things I wouldn't actively try to talk about. Like, I don't think I'd go all "Hey I play a lot of video games", but that's not because I'm ashamed of it - it's more that I don't think it's a significant thing to mention.
