Yes.

I don't think I really considered the teenage years and how I would be when I was a child, so I'm unsure. I mean, I had parents and little kids, I never really noticed an in-between strongly enough to remember.

#235- Would child you be disappointed in current you?
This question is courtesy of Gamer, and I think it's a good one!
I think it's a great question too!
I don't think so - he'd be a bit disappointed that I wasn't earning more money than I am, but he'd be satisfied at least.

Nope, I'm sure he'd high-5 me if he knew I was studying to become a Zookeeper

Absolutely not. He might be a bit worried about my financial situation, but other than that, my present life is just total awesomesauce.

Well, they sort of taught me a worldview that turned out to be wrong and left me mired deep in two years of depression with a myriad of character disorders.
But they didn't do it on purpose, I suppose.

235. I was actually a moody bastard when I was a kid. Wanted to do loads of drugs and have promiscuous sex only in order to spite my parents (they taught me those were the two worst things to do other than rape or murder, probably out of regret :p). Neither came to fruition, but in retrospect, I'm probably better off that way. Just randomly remembered how silly I was back then. I also wanted to be a scientist, but I'm not too worried about that. Wanted to do a Psychology degree since the age of 13 or so.
236. Every now and then. I've also betrayed them, in a sense. I broke my sister's arm once on a seesaw, accidentally, by getting off of it too early. I also laughed when she broke her wrist when she was hit by an errant ball during a game of playground football (I didn't realise how serious it was). On the other hand, she once laughed at me because I was crying because of indents on my hands from carrying heavy shopping. She also pinched a place on my knee where I had a scab, causing the wound to open up again. She told my mother I was an atheist too (which I weaselled out of - though, my own attitude to religion would probably be a betrayal of my upbringing), so it evens out.

I used to think so when things actually happened, but no, not really "betrayed" - I feel that's a strong word. Being mean, sure - who hasn't been mean or had their family be mean to them? But betrayed or seriously wronged, no - I mean sure, my brother took the cookies and I wasn't meant to tell anyone, but...

Yeah- I'm not really talking about family making a dumb comment about an outfit, or blaming you for eating cookies, or something. I mean really serious stuff.

I've thought about it all day and there hasn't been any drama like that in my family. You have to be pretty low and self centered to do something as #$%^ty as betraying your family.

I'd say yes, but I know it's more a conflict of beliefs (in a way - not religiously)
