Annual pass Ends: 3/11/12 15:10
Account active since : 09/11/04 , No lapses
And no, i dont have a beta test either :(, only one i've ever had was the one from vanilla
~ Kazom.
You've had an active account since prior to the game being released? 9/11/04? The game was released on November 23rd of 2004. Unless you switch month/day to day/month but even then you're like a two weeks or so early. Was just curious, I'm watching a lot of the numbers.
I'd imagine though you don't have your beta key yet because you are almost 3 weeks later than most for the Annual Pass promotion.

Something I have not seen mentioned (or taken the time to look in depth for due to the high amount of complaining) is system requirements for the beta. I would assume that those with high end gaming machines and specs would be given first dibs.
I have the annual pass and could care less if I get in on the beta or not. I love the game and was more interested in getting Diablo for free and the mount was just a bonus.

Listen, I know this will hurt your feelings.
It probably has nothing to do with any of that yet. They probably have a nice line-up of people who beta tested before and have a track record of providing good feeback along with friends, fansite people etc.
The annual pass thing was a marketing tool. I am pretty sure the devs making the game would prefer having prior beta testers first and foremost. As the game gets more polished, then they will start really settling up their obligation with the annual pass people.
My guess is most of the people who are getting in now are because they did a good job betaing in the past.. that they have an annual pass is coincidence.

I like the data collecting strategy of this thread, but I doubt we'll see a pattern from it. Here's my info if it helps.
Annual pass end date: 10/21/2012 (x2)
Main account active since Nov. 2006
Second account had a 1 month lapse in Dec. 2010
It'd be interesting to figure out how they determine lapses in accounts with more than one license on them. No previous beta testing and
no invite yet
but I'll get in when I get in.
I do know someone that got invited already though and he's been active since 2006 as well with no beta experience. He did sub to the annual pass later though (maybe a few days/weeks after the announcement).

I think it has more to do with system specs and ironing out graphical issues than how long you've been playing. Of course it's nice to reward loyalty, but it's beta tested for a reason. It should be all about improving the end product rather than giving people earlier access to the game based on their subscriptions.
A real beta test maybe, and for the non-pass members that may well be the case. However, people "paid" for access as Blizzard stated that it would be a perk of the Annual Pass. Access for them is based ordered on how long your account has been active and when you signed up for the Annual Pass.
So in their case it is more of an early access program.

Did anyone who posted in this originally get beta access when the 200,000 were invited?
I still haven't. :(

As far as I'm aware the earlier you signed your account up for being considered (regardless of annual pass) the higher your chances & I've read before that it's likely your system is also a factor.
An example of this is all of my buddies and me who have never skipped a sub since classic, those who have also purchased an annual pass (not me I want the DB3 CE without all that fluff of extra wow play if you purchase the annual pass then purchase the CE) - have not gotten into Beta. No annual pass holders that I know have the key yet but they didn't sign up for it straight away.
The Scarab Lord in the guild, his daughter who uses game time cards and has never subbed in her life (she joined mid WoLK) and a warlock who has pestered Blizz (by written letter) since BC and signed his account up for consideration for Beta testing as soon as it became available on Battlenet have gotten the keys. The warlock is using an old system (it's like 9yrs old or something and has a woeful graphic card.) The SL daughter has the latest Alienware with all the trimmings. We all tease the SL about always getting keys but he has also contacted Blizz from the get go about wanting to be included since he is a programmer IRL and beta testing is sort of his guilty pleasure so I assume they keep inviting him back because he treats the reporting very seriously (he picks one thing to do and does it over and over then moves on once nothing bugs out.) The SL also builds his own system every six months as well as uses an old Dell.
Personally I doubt I'll get it because so many are on the wait list. I think all the annual pass holders will get entry but it won't be until much more bugs are ironed out. A mass group of ppl in early stages of Beta is really harmful and doesn't aid the game. So you'll most likely find that once the game is programmed more like it will be in live then Blizz will let quite a few in to test to see if it'll crash or bug out because of the numbers. Be patient Beta can take months, there's still time to get in.

This is all very true, but the point of the Original Post is just to gather information for entertainment purposes.

hahaha ok then let me put this back on track.
It's likely I haven't gotten the key because my laziness for not reading things probably has caused me to sign myself up to like starcraft beta testing or something equally scary (♥_♥)

Annual Pass Ends: 10/23/2012
Account active with no breaks since I started, roughly July of 2006.
So far there's been the Initial Wave at launch, then the three 100k, 100k, 100k over three days. I got in on the 2nd 100k batch.
