"He stole my antisocial tendencies and music," Alex grumbled. "Goodness, can't one go two feet without meeting a sociopath?"

"Just 'cause I've got my headphones in doesn't mean I've started listening to music yet," Mark commented, "and just 'cause I got tired of the conversation doesn't make me antisocial either," he added levelly.

"Savor that music while you can, I doubt we can ask gnomes - or even space-goats, for that matter - to recharge our gadgets," Alistair drawled, stifling a yawn.

Mark shrugged, "you never know... I'm pretty sure they have batteries in some gnomish stuff, so get one with enough power and it'll be all good." The human was evidently not keen on the prospect of being unable to listen to music after the batteries ran out. The succubus discreetly watched at the device, trying to work out what it was.

"This place is huge!" Richard exclaimed from atop a crane he climbed in the dwarven district.
"Hey!" He heard a voice yell and he looked down to see a group of gnomes watching him. "How'd you get up there?" One of them asked.
"I turned the other one on and had it lift me up here." Richard replied.
"It's broken." The gnome said pointing to the other crane.
"I fixed it. The start capacitor on the engine was shot so i replaced it with the one from this one." Richard replied pointing down at the crane he was sitting on.

"And yet another person can't understand sarcasm," Alex muttered. "Unless this is SARCEPTION."

"So, was that last remark sarcasm or only the one before it? Or both?" Mark asked, noting the fact the road had widened and seemed more worn now. In the distance stood a large stone wall and beyond it, above the tips of the trees, loomed a single, large building.

"Riiight, I'm not even gonna try to figure out how that works," Mark decided. "Better put that away before anyone gets suspicious," the succubus commented, gesturing towards Mark's headphones. The human merely raised an eyebrow and said nothing, to which she rolled her eyes and added, "unless you want even more people to know you're not from anywhere on Azeroth."

"Why are we traveling with a succubus, again?" Alex muttered to Alistair.

"For one thing, she's probably capable of frying us - unless we suddenly both possess enough resistance to fel magic. Two, she probably is attracted to Our Dear Glowing Friend. His glowiness, more likely," Alistair muttered back, rubbing his eyes as he fought a losing battle against sleepiness.

"Good reasons, I guess," Alex shrugged. "Though it goes without saying that we should probably be careful."

"Eh, the way I see it, might as well try to relax a little bit. It's not like we can do anything other than scream and run and probably flail at this point, too. Damn, it was a lo-o-o-o-ong day," Mercer yawned.

"Hey, I stopped glowing when I cast that spell, don't jinx it," Mark muttered. "And if I wanted to kill you, you'd be dead already," the succubus commented, indicating that she had also heard every word of Alistair and Alex's conversation. The demoness gave a lazy salute as they passed the guards stationed outside the abbey, as her current illusion was that of a Stormwind footsoldier. As they entered Northshire Abbey itself the

wandered off, sniffing hungrily at various objects. Other then that there was dead silence, with several people in scholarly uniforms scurrying about.
