Ever been to scarlet monastery? Fighting monks.
So the Scarlet Crusade just opens up to the Alliance and Horde and teaches them all how to fight, monk style?
No, the Pandarens are teaching everyone how to be a monk....since the Crusade are a bunch of racists and bigots.

There is dozens of ways to introduce Monks to the Alliance and Horde, without using Pandas.

Um....okay; list 5 then, since other then the Crusade monks(who are really just bare knuckle fighters) no group in Azeroth has the same ideals of the Monks from Pandaria.

Why do they have to have those ideals? How about ....humans, or just about any race, that have developed martial arts. .
The fantasy monk-class from rpgs is about a disciplined spiritual warrior-type of character that is good at fighting unarmed and with simple weapons such as staves, such a character doesnt have to be a Panda or have learned from a Panda.
The Monks in Scarlet Monastery is precisely that. Disciplined, well-trained warriors that excel at fighting unarmed.

But that's still someone from a group that is among the most racist and bigoted on the planet(even before the Dreadlords got their hooks in them); they aren't going to share that with the rest of the world, since they hate everyone.
Even then though; whether you like it or not, all of the Monks are going to be trained by the Pandarens.

Why so much Scarlet Crusade bashing?
The Scarlet Crusade might be slightly racist and (too) idealistic. But besides being led by demons in disguise, they where the true heroes of WOTLK and are imo the most interesting faction/group/sect in Wow. They understand that the Forsaken are evil and dangerous, and need to be dealt with, just like the Scourge. (remember Wrathgate? ).They are widely misunderstood as deranged fanatics, but tbph, a chaotic turmoiled world like azeroth need deranged fanatics fighting on the good side.
They would, imho be a great choice if Blizzard ever decided to introduce a permanently "neutral" (aka hostile to both factions) playeable faction, i would roll a Scarlet Crusader instantly. (Not a Scarlet crusade panda though:) )

...What? Are you kidding? The Scarlet Crusade was made of bigots and racists before the Dreadlords took over; why do you think there are statues of Elves and Dwarves in the Armoury but none among the current ranks. Pretty much any of the non-humans of the Crusade went off to form the Argent Dawn since they were fed up with the racist crap. Also, heroes of Wrath? Right...after spending two expansions killing anyone in the Plaguelands just because 'they might be infected' whether they were or not.
The Crusade would have only taught humans possibly; other then that, they would have been more in line with killing all of the other 11 races then teaching them.

But why are there not elves and dwarves in the scarlet crusade? The Crusade wants to bring goodness to a evil world, and to clean out all the evil stuff, with the Scourge and other Undead as the main enemy. If the scarlet where alive and well now in cata, they would chase after deathwing instead, or perhaps try to deal with the Forsaken. They are always battling for a just cause, just that they have a "the end justifies the means" kinda attitude about them.
Being racist and throwing out/alienating greedy dwarves and conspiring elves (elves are always plotting something stupid that ends up destroying the world) are a little harsh, but perhaps necessary to keep the morale high and uniting the remaining forces. What they lose in numbers they then make up by a stronger morale by fighting along only your own kin who looks, talks and thinks like one another without secret agendas, driven by ideals, not gold.
The Scarlet Crusade is awesome. I would join IRL if i could. (j/k about the last part)

Yeah sorry about that. I do love the Scarlet Crusade though, they are a really cool faction that sort of popped up here and there as you levelled in vanilla. In forsaken starter zone, the Monastery, plaguelands, stratholme, and then made a welcome comeback in WoTLK (The quests around new hearthglen where really fun).
And now they are some extra-corrupted Undead in EPL and redone Strat in cata. I would love for them or a new variation of them to re-appear in MoP. But thats another topic.

Look up the Risen on Wowpedia to explain that new version of them.

Scarlet Crusade always reminded me of the 'Children of the Light' from WoT.
I agree.
