Tend to go for melee, I've tried a few casters, but rarely can get into them. Generally I'll go for a speed-based DPS (rather than wielding two handers) but I'll have fun regardless. I enjoy "DoT based melee" characters such as Shadowknights (EQ) and DKs in WoW, for what it is worth.

My name is Takaeda, I love to play a Rogue/Mage using Daggers and Chakram, running about slicing people and blowing them up ;DAlternatively, I love playing a Tanky Warrior/Mage, aiming towards something of a Paladin!(P.S. I WANT THIS GAME ;( )
Depending on the graphics and physics of the game I either lean towards casters or fighters.Cool graphics with awesome spell effects will mean I play mostly casters, however great physics and combo systems will lean me towards fighters.
Melee Heavy Armor with a 2h is usually what I like to roll with. Better chance of living and being able to hack through everything is nice.
I love ranged classes, so i typical play the Hunter/Ranger type classor sometimes the OP classes ;)
Typically, anything that can control a pet. So, Hunters in WoW and Wood Elf in Skyrim.
I like to play a caster or rogue. Something about them makes the game better. Now if I play a game like Skyrim I will be the best of both worlds, a casting rogue.
I almost always play as a heavily armored melee class for my first playthrough of an RPG. I save magic for after I know the game a bit better.
Most RPGs I end up playing Warrior with shield but usually end up casting some kind of spell !
