I love to be a high damage in the back caster. Casters are the most protective defense type in my opinon. They stay far back can put up aborbs and slow down their enemies. They dont need to be able to take alot of damage because they wont take alot. =P BOOMKIN FTW
In MMOs I usually play either a pet class or a ranged caster. My favorite pet class ever was the EQ Beastlord, but the WoW Hunter was a great mix of the two.In Bethesda RPGs I usually go for melee classes though.

When I play RPGs I'm usually some form of caster. I prefer DPS but I've been known to have fun healing.
Mostly i play casters that specialize on causing direct damage like fire mages and demonology warlocks, but in this game I'd like to try a hybrid caster with a one handed sword wearing leather type armor.
I normally play love to play the hunter-like class, you know the ranged one(hopefully with a pet ;))
Rogue/Thief is what I seem to go for at first, but depending on the game I may not like how it plays and try another class till I find one I like. In the rare case that I just don't like the play style of any of them then the game is a waste of money to me and I tell my friends to be wary of getting that game.
I love casters and shape shifters. In WoW, I prefer Druids and Shamans over all other classes, but each have their own appeal.
This enigma of heavy armor, shield, and occasional two-hand hammer, brings shadow to the battlefield with his presence of fear. He destroys all with his might and consumes the pride of all life. We see him in the front lines hacking away with his fierce weapon skills, leaving nothing when he passes on. War its-self is part of this entities name, we classify this class as the WARRIOR! Now come out and play-a-a.....
I'm Cayas and i'm a noob. I play classes that are sturdy, no clothies here :-). I love classes that can go from range to melee with ease (yes i need my OP charge or Death Grip) or else i have to get a range class with a pet so my pet tanks and i burn it till its dead XD. Now whether its range or melee i want ... no wait NEED my heals. I could care less about my damage out put if i can out live anything any ways and if your sturdy + a little self heals I JUST DON'T DIE. That's why in WoW i be rolling a Druid :-). I can heal and tank cause i'm ALL AROUND. So basically if they have a druid like class in any game you will find me there :-).
I usually play melee dps classes and ranged but dislike tanking.
I always start with a Half-Elf Ranger character first - so Night Elf Hunters in WoW was the closest - that was the first class I ever played back in my first MUD . However these days I might actually start with a tank or a druid (rangers in my first MUD were actually somewhere between hunters and druids).
I usually play casters. an be either a powerful mage or healer.
