With that level of passion and devotion to wow I can only hope your studies lead you to a job in the video game sector.

WoW addiction is a real thing, hell most player will have suffered various degree of it. However most people do manage to control it, so it is not really a major problem. For those who gotten sucked in badly, the right choice is to quit ofc. No addiction is good for you, especially un-controlled addiction like the person who made the video suffered.
However even though you movie was good, I would not say it is an award winner film. As said before, you seem to try to victimize yourself instead of letting people know you slipped up. This does bug me a bit due you have yourself ultimately to blame. Also the visiting girlfriend without calling to say you coming is somewhat moronic, I can understand the reason but still.
Anyhow good luck getting your life together, but here is one who will continue to play wow in my spare time:)

Did you have a point you were trying to make? Or were you just trying for some kind of cheap shot?
Or are you trying to say that anyone that isn't a paid subscriber should not be posting on Wowhead?
None of the above, you can read into it whatever you wish.

The game has gotten to the point now of just doing the same thing over and over. Anyone remember the Scourge Invasion (Just before Burning Crusade) - That, IMO, was the best times in WoW history.

Wasn't that just before wotlk rather than BC?

To all the people who say he is acting like he was victimized by the game, tell me at what time in the film he says that?... Plus for the ones saying it was bad, do you have any experience in writing, filming, or editing a film? It seems to me most of you don't.

Thank you!
And yes, I don't blame the game at all in this film.

That was a really inspiring video, very well done. Good of you to kick the habit :)
I used to be a lot like that myself, but eventually I just stopped having fun playing the game for some reason. I gave up raiding, and now I only go on once or twice a week to RP. My grades at college have shot up as a result, and I've started talking with friends who I haven't spoken to in years.

I expected this to be dodgy and cheap. It wasn't. Excellent production.
The only critique I have is that I find the captions quite distracting, especially when they don't 100% match up with the soundtrack.

P.S.
English is only my second language.
I join my voice to those who are lucky enough to maintain a balanced life. WoW actually IMPROVED it. I met half a dozen people living not far from me. After a while we all met together and it's been 2 good years we know each other, go out and do WoW lan party. All of us have work, school and most, a gf/bf. I got that lucky epic loot from WoW and do enjoy it alot :)
Some people realy have an addictive mind (just as much as those eating too much, drinking too much, everything too much). We can blame them but realy, the best we can do is support them until they make the choice by themselves to go over that and become better.
Thank you for the video and the experience. And keep in mind, completely stoping is in my opinion, just deny. I am sure all those people you met online still remember you. Not for your gear, but for your strong sense of organisation, fun personality and charisma.

Great video, very well cut and it was a wonderful story to watch (not the part about the girl from Norway, but the rest was great).
Glad you've got your life on track.
