We will also see deathtards v2.0, rise of the monktards, when everyone and their grandmother rolls a monk. Similar to start of wotlk. Remember running hellfire ramparts on your lvl 61 priest healer grouped with 4 deathtards named Arthasdklol? Deathgripping everything, needrolling everything, never succeeding in picking the right presence? etc etc. Exactly like that.
In all honesty, won't be as bad, since Monks are not a Hero Class and start at level 1.
You hope!

Alright, it won't be any worse then any of the new people who start at level one and don't learn their class till they hit 60. /sheesh People need something to hate. *goes off grumbling*

Some of the class changes seem a bit vexatious. Pet battles don't interest me at all. I'm somewhat worried about how the female pandaren model is going to look, especially seeing as we haven't seen so much as concept art.
But that's about it.

I fail to see any problem with MoP as of right now.
This and
What do you think the main problem with MoP is?
I hate to start waves, but honestly the biggest problem with MoP isn't anything from MoP itself, but it's more the expectations of the playerbase (whether that would be silent majority or vocal minority is another, rather important related matter).
This.
I see no problem with MoP. Just what people are thinking what'll be is my problem.

I second this notion. The game isn't even out yet and we're talking about what problems it's going to have. Like what was said, the portion of the playerbase isn't happy, but there's a portion that happy and DGAF. It's WoW, and it'll be played regardless.

Also how are pandas childish? How is an specific type of animal life form more suited for the interests of a child-stage human than anyone else?
They arent anymore childish then any of the other races in the game, it is the percieved connection between kung fu panda, a story made for kids and the pandaren, regardless of the fact the pandaren predate kung fu pandas they arent as famous and will always be linked.
Its a shame Blizz didnt introduce pandarens when they had initially planned with the launch of BC then we could all point at the king fu panda franchise and call them a bunch of copycats err bears.

And I'm aware, but perhaps the name "Crane" just kind of seems suspicious. The crane has its roots not in Kung Fu Panda, but in chinese martial arts. There is a crane stance in Karate, which is a descendant of chinese martial arts too.
Southern White Crane
- for a martial style named after the crane
Jin Ji Du Li
- the ubiquitous crane stance
Everyone has always been ripping off chinese martial arts.
Edits: can't speel worth %$*^ today
I'm aware of the Crane Stance, I am a Purple Belt in karate.

See my first post in the thread.

You're a purple belt in karate, but you thought the word "crane" was a rip-off from Kung Fu Panda?
*boggle*
(I mean, everyone knows it was actually ripped off from the 1984 movie The Karate Kid!)

Oh wow I had forgot about that movie. Anyways, you guys make a good argument. Vanilla was pretty fun, so I'm hoping it'll be like that. I do agree with whoever said there's gonna be a truckload of monks where ever you go.

I think the fear of the MoP expansion is this preconceived notion that because of the image connecting Panderan to kung fu panda....that there is going to be this huge onslaught of screaming children rushing to play this game so they can have a cute panda. :P
It won't happen...I hope.
