The woman led Hyper back to the throne room, bringing her to the corner. There was now a cage there, just big enough for Hyper to stand in, or lay down if she curled up a little. The woman shoved her in; the floor of the cage covered in a pile of sheets and a couple pillows.
"Do you like it?" She asked.

"How bad would you feel if I told you that the targets are kids? Highly dangerous and somewhat mad kids, but still kids," Kish said, watching for a reaction.

"No game, Hawthorne," Kish replied seriously. "I can show you what they can and will do, if you wish to see."

"It is common to have a pet sleep in a cage while you train them." The woman stated. "But if you really want to sleep on the floor..." She said, forcing Hyper to lay dow on the floor. "Then go ahead." She shrugged.
The puppet spell kept Hyper from lifting herself back up.

"Oy, what's this?" A voice said from the entrance to the arena, and the three looked around. A large motley group of mortals, garbed in the gear of the Bloodsails, stood there, grinning at them.
"Hey look! Amusement!" Xadmas laughed, striding towards.
"Wait for me!" Adams said eagerly.
Do we really have time for this?
Seeker asked as it flowed down onto the arena floor and walked towards the pirates.
"Uh, sir, why aint they afraid?" One of the pirates asked their commander who merely grinned at the seadogs.
"Kill'em!" He yelled and charged forward....and his body kept running as Xadmas cut off his head.
"Next!" The Nobody laughed, and waded into the group, slashing with his blades.

"You have? Well, then you know how dangerous they can be. However, the specific group I'm hiring you for is not exactly the group you traveled with, Mr. Hawthorne," Xela said, leaning against the wall.

"Still resisting?" The woman asked. "I have ways of dealing with that..." She said, an undead woman suddenly appearing from the shadows. She stepped forward, gripping Hyper's head and spiking her way inside.
The mind control spell was powerful, smashing into Hyper's mind. It was certainly temporary, exerting so much magic in the initial casting.
'You are a dog, act like it.'

"Of course," Xela replied. "They are, in fact, copies of those people. However, they ended up in a different timeline, which has, ah, met with an unfortunate end, Mr. Hawthorne. And now they are here. I wish to avoid such an end for this world as well."

The shadow priest nodded, dispersing with her work done.
"Come her girl, come here!" The woman said happily, tapping the side of her throne.
