Winter Veil because i love how my gnome looks sitting on santa's lap
Definitely Children's week. It's holiday that make us think deeper about helpless little victims of war- orphans. I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina and i was 7 yrs old when there was war in my country. Many of my friends lost members of their families and Semir, my 5 yrs old neighbour lost his father while his mother died of cancer only few months after his second birthday. He had nobody else so my mom took care of him, along with me and my older sister. Even today we are like real brothers. Many other children weren't that lucky. Children's week allows me to take cute little orphan with me and, at least virtually, make one child happy like my bro Semir. Beautiful landscapes of azeroth are definetely better place for these little guys with someone to love them.

I like all the longer events, but my favorites are Hallow's End and Lunar Festival. Still i woundn't mind some new achievements :X
There are so many great and well thought out World Events in WoW, just like real life. In my supposed "real life", it has to be Halloween; being silly, scary and all parts in between while still being "young" by dressing up. Also getting to dress up your home as well can be satisfying all in itself, it becomes a place where many people come to visit for free candy and later to throw your pumpkins in the street.... err, wait.... and after I gave them all candy too. I worked hard carving out that profile of the Warchief.... the heathens!Well, anyhow... what was the question again? Ahh, yes. With regards to the World of Warcraft and as far away from Halloween as you can get, my in game favorite event has to be the spirit of "Love is in the Air". No, really, I promise.Yea, I know, its a touchy-feely affair, but there is more to this event if you just look a little harder and if you can get by all that pink. There is High (and yes, low) adventure for all, such as, but not limited to; espionage, love, pity, charms, fireworks, flowers, loving that tough boss, smelling good, candy hearts, bracelets, the best darn non-combat pet evers!, appreciated a good leader, PvP love not war, greeting cards, getting shafted, guys wearing dresses, being lonely and heartbroken then making friends, free samples, disasters flirtations.... there is Love by the fistfuls I tell ya! If you are lucky, maybe even "Truuuue Love".Yea, by far (and don't call me Shirley) I like "Love is in the Air".... hmmm, but then again, I do like "Brewfest" as well.... the Brews, the cool rides, the brews, the food, the kegs of brew, funny pants with funky hats, the polka dot music, the brews.... but I digress.... I did mention brews, right?Happy All Hallow's End everyone!
Brewfest no contest there, I brew my own beer so it has a special place in my heart.
winter veil ftw.because the christmas time is the best time of the year.
I have to say my favorite is hollows end. I just love all the masks, eating candy till i puke, and fighting the headless horseman. Plus who doesn't love getting to play fire fighter.
My favorite holiday must be Brewfest. This was my first ever holiday (not counting the harvest one) and I have many found memories from it.When I first learned that there was a holiday coming I thought that it would only last for a day, so I was panicking to get as much as possible done in that first day. I remember I was even mourning the end of brewfest that first evening. Felt sort of silly the day after when I discovered that it was still around but that just made it more memorable :)
Personally, Hallow's End would be my favorite, mostly because it's the first holiday in WoW that I experienced. One of my fondest memories was when I actually realized that it was going on. As I was passing by Goldshire one day during the event, suddenly I started to hear the Horseman's speech as he attacks the town. Watching him ride around through the air, flames following in his wake, torching everything in sight while letting loose that laugh was a great introduction to that holiday for me. Its one of the reasons why I always try to get the plate helm for my plate wearing alts, so I have access to that epic laugh at any time.
Definitely either the Midsummer Fire Festival, or Hallows End, they are the two I remember most from my early days of playing.
Brewfest is my favorite WoW Holiday.Knocking back a brew. That drunk Coren Direbrew is the one you slew. But using the Remote to rock out.Means that you will soon have many dark irons to knock out./cheers
I just cut my finger opening a fortune cookie, and the fortune said You will win this damn contest. So I guess my favorite holiday would be Pirate's Day because I like dancing with naked pirates.
For me best wow holiday is Fire Festival. Summer days are quite hot around here and I hate going outside when there's apollo smiling at me outside so instead I log on and do flame warden achivements! So my saviour Fire Festival is always the best! Tabard designs are pretty cool and I like to kill ahune too :)
I would definitely have to say that my favourite holiday is the Pilgrims Bounty holiday because what other holiday gives you an excuse to eat all the food you can fit in your belly? Sure, you have Noble Garden and Love Is In The Air, but those are restricted to chocolates. And sure, Brewfest is an awesome excuse to get your character smashed but alcohol isn't a food, regards of the "liquid bread" thing. No, Pilgrim's Bounty gives you the sweet potatoes, it gives you the cranberries in the chutney, it gives you turkey and for goodness sake it gives you pie! And, come on now, which other holiday allows you the opportunity for a food fight without getting into trouble, huh?And the last reason why this is my favourite holiday is because I am The Turkinator.
