Winter Veil - Cause I get to sing my favorite song about my evil dread filled reindeer, Rudolph. You know Dasher and Dancer, and Prancer and Vixen,Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen,But do you recallThe most famous reindeer of all?Rudolph, the undead reindeerhad a very fleshy nose. And if you ever saw him,you would even say it grows. All of the other reindeerused to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolphplay in any Winter Veil games. Then one foggy Winter Veil EveGrand-father Winter came to say:"Rudolf with your nose so dead, won't you guide my plague tonight?"Then all the reindeer loathed himas they shouted out and fled,Rudolph the undead reindeer, you'll go down in history!
Midsummer fire Festival. Because I live in Connecticut and I've had enough of the snow. IT CANCELLED HALLOWEEN THIS YEAR GOD DANG-IT!
Omg holiday events are great.. its the best way to skip familly meeting...Sorry cant come for dinner this christmas.there are gifts for me under the tree i have to open..
My favorite is Hallow's End, as it entices me to explore realms I haven't been to yet. Also, the dailies are fun and trying, especially when flying into unfriendly territory to do some bombing runs. Its that nice mixture of thrill and excitement, along with a generous helping of reward that make Hallow's End my favorite. Next year I swear I'll get that horseman mount, as I have a score to settle!
Hallow's End has to be my favorite holiday in WoW. The diversity of quests, the new addition to mini pets each year, the loot from the Headless Horseman itself is really good if you don't have the best gear just yet. Who doesn't like taking the head from him? Oh wait..Having to run around to get all the buckets even from Ratchet and Booty Bay when you're hated by them, waiting 2 minutes to resurrect to grab a bucket and die again just adds to the fun. Especially when you can narrowly escape those dastardly goblins and death once more.
Oh, wow. You want me to choose my favorite World Event? That's a serious problem for a World Event junkie. After chewing on my knuckles for a bit, I'm sorry to say it is a tie between Hallow's End and the Feast of Winter Veil. Ok, I've always loved pelting people with snowballs. Both put me in the right mood for the holiday each mirrors. I love the spooky atmosphere of Hallow's End, even if the Headless Horseman is yelling at me constantly while hanging around the Wickerman. I simply have to drag myself down to Goldshire Stop the Fires! simply to feel like I can annoy him. Before this year, I loved doing that in Brill too, but the Cataclysm changes to Brill totally ruined that experience. Thank goodness most of my horde toons had already pumpkined the people they needed for Check Your Head. Speaking of heads, or should I say tongues, I'm curious what is attached to the tongue that keeps twitching out of that Creepy Crate. Its deathgrip has my death knight worried about the competition in there. Yes, I'm still fawning over the two new pets introduced this year. Here kitty kitty kitty; although I am disappointed in the drop rate for the Headless Horseman's Mount, and my priest is still wondering what to do with that nice shiny Saber.I'm hoping Blizzard freshens up Winter Veil with new pets and festivities. No, I don't want the intensity of Candy Buckets. Heaven knows I saw enough of those to give an entire household a toothache, but Winter Veil has been well Winter Veil for quite a few years, and adding a few new things would shine it up a little like the changes to Hallow's Eve added to the ambiance of that holiday. Even so, I'm looking forward to settling the score with the Greench again and saving Metzen for the is it 6 years now? Too bad I don't have a level 36 frost mage around to try solo'ing that pesky elite abominable again. You haven't tried getting even with that Greench until you do it on a low level, under geared toon with abilities completely unsuited for killing a particular mob. Hum, I think I still have time to create another mage for the task, even though Thanksgiving's festivities are just around the corner.Anyhow, I think it's time to let my new familiar feline curl up in front of a cozy fire; while I have my engineers dust of their Snowmaster 9000s and start cranking out the ammunition. Now if I could only find a snowflake maker.
my favorite is the Christmas holiday just because i like Christmas.
My favorite wow holiday is easily Hallows End, There are a ton of achievs to work on, decorations are all over the place, people flying around on brooms. Themed boss that upgrades your alts rings, cool pets and just an awesome eerie feel.
I would have to say, out of all the various WoW holidays, that I've had the most fun with Hallow's End. It offers a lot of awesome things. I mean you get to fight the Headless Horseman, run around desperately trying to put out fires that he creates, wear goofy looking masks, eat candy until you are sick and and trick or treat all around Azeroth visiting places that you don't normally go on a daily, or even weekly basis really. No only that, but it is a holiday on WoW that is fun and interactive with other WoW players. You have to work together with other players to put out the fires that the evil Headless Horseman spawns regularly. Also, at higher levels, you must work together with fellow players to fight your hardest to defeat the Horseman! You can also do fun things with other players such as through pumpkins on their heads (totally fun) and change them into various fun Halloween inspired things with the wands. Not only all of the things above, but my favorite part of all-the goodies you can get! This year brought a few new things and few timeless classics. Of course one of the most sought after and in my opinion, coolest, mounts the Headless Horseman's spooky horse! Also with that the awesome looking helm that could be obtained through defeating the Horseman, a truly awesome little black cat wearing a cute witch's hat that could also fly with you! Amazing! Also a new thing this year was the fun quest offering the creepy crate, a truly unique companion. So again, my favorite is Hallow's End, with firefighting, interactive activities with other players and the awesome goodies available, what is not to love! Plus it's just spooky!
