The Lunar Festival, because that was the first World Event I have ever intended on WoW. During the time I just created my character, so it brings back a lot of good memories. I had a lot of fun and can't wait for it to return in January. One of the coolest/funnest World Events on WoW in my opinion. The achievements are all a lot of fun, and pretty challenging to earn. All the fireworks display are amazing! Such a fun Event.
Winter veil, look up and next to the christmas tree is a sky filled with twinkling stars...
Hallow's End ... I have always loved it because it is so much fun. I love riding around now on my Headless Horseman's Mount and having the Helm and just laughing. Some parts are boring like the Trick or Treating, but it allows me to see everything again, which is nice. By far, I love it. It is just like Halloween when I was growing up. I remember being so excited when the mount dropped for me.
Mine will be Winter Veil since it's beautiful season and fun and of course presents.
That'd be Hallow's End,Just for the reason that it's great to fly on brooms and to fly on horses that do ectually belong to headless people :)Oh and not to mention the BIG pumpkin heads walking all over the streets. And ofcourse there's the candy... GO CANDIES!Greetz from The Netherlands!
Winter's Veil. Way back when i was first going on (before the CoD gifts in the mail con) I used to absolutely love finding all of those crazy vendor-loot items with ridiculous flavor text, wrap them up, and mail them as gifts to friends of mine. The best parts were when they would open up things like coal (cliche, I know), AV items (like A Very Large Bag and Tear Stained Handkerchief), and random drops/purchases like The Sarge's Bullet, Pet Rock, and Old Teamster's Skull. It felt like Christmas listening to reactions on vent or reading reactions in chat when they opened their gifts (albeit a lot less expensive).
For me the best one is the Brewfest, i just love it :)
My favourite has to be Children's Week. I love questing and the quest lines you get with the orphans give me plenty to do.Also I have OCD issues and have recently finished collecting the 150 pets, still trying for them all tho. Childrens Week helped by giving me loads of pets to collect. Also, who doesn't want a wee Oracle orphan to show the sights of Azeroth to?
My favourite event is Lunar Festival couse you can get FIREWORKS. You got to love fireworks no matter what!
I'd say mine has to be Hallow's End as well. Mostly because of the horseman's laugh, but all the costume effects are great too. Running 5 man's with everyone as a pirate or ninja just makes it more fun. Not to mention eating candy until you puke all over everyone!
My favorite is Children's week because I love they added more pets and they are my love=)
Hallow's End is the most fun event in the who World of Warcraft. Having buildings burning from Headless Horseman raiding each and every town setting them to fire is simply breathtaking and to top it all off you can face him and make him accountable for all the fires around the world.
Winter Veil would have to be my favorite. That time of year is always when my entire family gets together and spends a week or so celebrating and baking. It's chaotic but really great. It's nice to have cheery decorations and presents in-game as well.
Actually Hallow's End. Not only do I like how they implemented the idea of the headless horseman attacking villages randomly while in truth hiding in some sinister place where he can be faced as a final encounter. I also like the design of him, that bright green glow and the flaming sword give him a very nice touch. And I think the best part of the holiday is that you can actually obtain all those items that give you the holiday's main enemy's style: You get the helm to laugh like him, you get the sword to summon his minions, you get the mount to "gallop" through the skies (the cool thing is that you don't even "fly" but float) and you also can use another one of his skills: Transforming the face of a target. I think it's awesome that that item doesn't require Hallow's End. It's a pity though that the stack limit is 20... with 100 or so it would be much more satisfying, for then I would really farm it. :D
Hallow's end because I finally got the mount and the cat pet on a broom is awesome!
